Green
What Color is Your Brain?

brought to you by Quizilla

[Edit]
Well, now that kinda sucks, no image. Heres the text:

GREEN:

At work or in school: I work best by myself. I like to focus on my ideas until my desire for understanding is satisfied. I am easily bored if the subject holds no interest to me. Sometimes, it is hard for me to set priorities because so many things are of interest.

With friends: I may seem reserved. Although my thoughts and feelings run deep, I am uneasy with frequent displays of emotion. I enjoy people who are interesting and of high integrity.

With family: I am probably seen as a loner because I like a lot of private time to think. Sometimes, I find family activities boring and have difficulty following family rules that don't make sense to me. I show love by spending time with my family and sharing ideas and interests.

The Potion Maker
toadnaerium is an opaque, swirling lavender liquid created from the leaves of the mountain iris.
arthosium is a translucent, dusty gold powder gleaned from the pollen of a morning glory.
Mixing toadnaerium with arthosium causes a violent chemical reaction, producing a translucent brown potion which gives the user the power of spitting acid.

My sitcom [20 Aug 2003|09:03am]
My LiveJournal Sitcom
arthos And duck (TNN, 9:00): arthos (Horatio Sanz) teaches kalmn (Viggo Mortensen) about Scientology. Also, birdfigment (Dennis Hopper) plays chess against pisces3857 (John Belushi), who doesn't know how. Nearby, buccaneer (Laura Campbell)'s new shirt bleeds in the wash and stains all of moneygod (Tom Berenger)'s underwear pink. That same day, chicagofire (Rutger Hauer) nixes arthos (Horatio Sanz)'s picnic plans. Meanwhile, seagoddessstory (Josephine Baker) cleans soccerfans (Colin Farrell)'s apartment and ruins the mouthwash. Crazy results follow.

Yah! [02 Jul 2003|01:54pm]
[ mood | excited ]

They've posted the schedule for next week and it's official!
MB Hounds (my soccer team) made the playoffs. Our first round game is July 12th at 1:40. We'll be playing a team that we tied at the begining of the season, who I think we had a pretty good chance of actually beating, but we missed a bunch of shots. Which has basically been our main problem anyways. Hopefully this time around we'll win it. Mind you no ties in playoffs, no fun penalty kicks instead.

I am the Cambodian Lady.

Everyone seems to overlook you, unless they want something from you. You have a rare and esoteric knowledge, and a skill that is not inconsiderable. Despite that, you remain in the background. Whether that is by destiny or by design is a question that only you can answer.

You tend to be inscrutable and cautious, and play things close to your chest. You also tend to be loyal, and a real friend stays a friend through thick and thin.

Which BladeRunner character are you?

Christmas in Florida [30 Dec 2002|09:37pm]
[ mood | content ]

Well, my mom choose to fly me down to Tampa for christmas. It had been about 3 years since I'd been down there I think. (A long time whenever it was last I was down for christmas). I spent alot of good time with my Mom and her husband Larry. I think Larry and I are finally starting to forge a good relationship, perhaps I've finally growen enough for us to be able to relate well. It's not that I had issues with my mom marrying him...more just no connection because it all happened after I had moved to Iowa and that seems to be changing. We also went to Larry's mothers place for christmas dinner and I got to spend time with his huge family which has really accepted all of us into it.

I also got to see my brother and his fiancee and kids which was cool as I hadn't seen them since the wedding. They are struggling monetarly, but they seem to be doing well as a family which is good. I still haven't seen enough of the fiancee to have a good feeling for her yet.

My Swag:
From my Mom/Larry: Tickets to Florida, Blindman's Bluff (A book about sub spying by the US on Russia during the Cold War and beyond), Depeche Mode The Singles 80-85 and 86-90.
From my Dad/Linda: FC Bayern Munchen Jersey, LOTR:FOTR Special Edition, A Second Chance at Eden by Peter Hamilton
From Team Alexander (heh, Ivan and company): Spiderman Widescreen
From Larry's Family:
A Purple Minimag flash light, Dillard Gift Cards, BooksaMillion Gift card, an emergency rechargable light that plugs into the wall, Depeche Mode 101, a desk calander with stupid things humans have done (On the first, a man who tried to kiss a rattlesnake and got bit) and cookies "handemade" by the newest addition to the family (1 1/2 yo).

I got a "promotion" [27 Nov 2002|12:30pm]
[ mood | cynical ]
[ music | Eurythmics - Greatest Hits ]

Or so the theory goes. In theory I have gotten this promotion once already. At work we have Tech Leads, Product Owners and Product Managers.

What Those Titles mean... )

I'm already the Tech Lead/Product Owner for webCoordinate. Which is not really that large, and at the moment isn't likely to get larger, and the majority of the enhancements for it are done, and waiting for other people to test. It's not likley to require alot of attention. In the past it's gone for months on end with me ignoreing it for other projects I've been assigned to. Now, I'm told, that the Trading product will have a new module product that I'm going to be put in charge of that new module. This module will be for Natural Gas trading (which opens me up to all sorts of interesting jokes I've discovered already) which we have done nothing with EVER as a company. So this is a rather large new market for our trading product, that will probably (hopefully) require more attention. In the end I'll be the Product Owner (the words they used) for the Gas Module.

It might also mean I'm Team Lead of a Team of more then 1.

Go Me! [19 Nov 2002|11:23am]
[ mood | ecstatic ]

My soccer team won it's first game of the season last night. This makes us 1-1-1. They haven't posted the results from last night, so I don't know how much this helps us, because there are a lot of teams at 1-1-1 (we've already had a bye week, and most everyone else hasn't).

The better part of it was that I had an awesome game. I had my game on, and did a very good imitation of a brick wall, allowing only one goal in. And that goal was on a penalty kick, which are in general very hard to stop (and I got my hand on it, just not enough). And last, but not least, I got the love from the team for a great game. And I think I did a pretty good job of accepting the compliments, which is something I've always had problems with.
