Four kinds of people / Kvar specoj de homoj
| The are four kinds of people in the world: A. Americans against Bush Despite living in the epicentre of the culture of consumption, fear and paranoia, these people have managed to see through the bullshit and keep their heads screwed on right. These are the real heroes and deserve the most admiration. B. Non-Americans against Bush This is the largest category and a sort of neutral default. Not living in the US makes it easier to be liberal and enlightened, so, although a laudable group, it's what is expected in my books considering that they don't have to bathe in American media and brainwashing. C. Americans for Bush It's highly unlikely that the vast majority of these poor souls know what they're talking about. Since there are only three kinds of conservatives (the mentally unstable, the ignorant and the evil), we can afford most of them the benefit of the doubt and presume ignorance. It's hard to blame them considering what they're surrounded with. The rest are mostly assholes, but at least they're in the minority. Remember that most of these folks are generally fairly decent people and would come around under the proper conditions. D. Non-Americans for Bush The most confusing category of all. These people either have a specific and disturbingly selfish agenda or are complete wackos. Well, perhaps that's not true; many of them are likely in the same large swath of ignorance as Group C, but since they don't live in the isolated redneck chrematocratic dynasty of America, it's hard to excuse them! In general, we shouldn't worry about them too much as it's unlikely that they'll be numerous or organized enough to slow the fall of the American Empire. |

Usonanoj kontraŭ Bush Malgraŭ tio ke ili loĝas en la centro de la kulturo de komsumado, timo kaj paranojo, ĉi tiuj homoj sukcesas vidi tra la merdo kaj restas kape ekvilibraj. C. Usonanoj por Bush Estas ege malverŝajne ke la vasta plimulto de ĉi tiuj kompatinduloj scias pri kio ili parolas. Ĉar estas nur tri specoj de konservativoj (la mense malstabilaj, la nesciaj kaj la fiaj), ni ĝentile supozu ke ili ne estas malbonuloj, sed simple nesciantoj aŭ nesciemuloj. Estas malfacile kulpigi ilin konsiderante tion kio ĉirkaŭas ilin. La ceteraj estas ĉefe fekkapulaĉoj, sed ili almenaŭ estas malplimulto. Memoru ke la plejparto de ĉi tiuj homoj estas ĝenerale sufiĉe bonkoraj homoj kiuj ŝanĝus siajn opiniaĉojn en la ĝusta medio. Ĉ. Neusonanoj por Bush La plej konfuza kategorio el ĉiuj. Tiuj ĉi homoj aŭ havas specifan kaj perturbe sinservan celaron aŭ estas plenaj frenezuloj. Nu, eble tio ne veras; multaj el ili estas verŝajne en la sama granda zono de nesciemo kiel tiuj en Grupo C, sed ĉar ili ne vivas en la izolata konservativa monbazata dinastio Usono, estas malfacile pardoni ilin! Ĝenerale, ni ne tro zorgu pri ili; estas malverŝajne ke ili estos sufiĉe multaj aŭ organizataj por malrapidigi la falon de la usona imperio. |
