The lucky winners of the free AUUG conference passes are Ray Cauchi, an independent web developer from the Blue Mountains, West of Sydney, who hasn't been to an AUUG before; and Jonathan Oxer from Melbourne. Congrats to you both, and learn and enjoy! See you there, too....
And commiserations to those who didn't win, some great responses there too and it was a really tough choice; but can't win 'em all and I only had two to give.

Someone asked how come I had some free passes to begin with... well, as sponsor of the event, we got one freebie. With all MySQL AB employees who attend the conf also being speakers, none of us needed the pass. And the other pass was 'acquired' through a fun haggle between AUUG and another main sponsor, with us as the final beneficiary.
I'm happy they found good 'home'!
