Some times I get so homesick it hurts.

FYI, Gmail is a piece of shit and will randomly delete your entire inbox and sent items and then Google basically shrugs their shoulders and says, "Oh Well".  If you rely on gmail for anything at all I suggest that you backup your mail using their backup tool.  I have lost 5 years of emails and I am not alone.  The gmail help groups are full of people that have experienced the same bullshit.

What is the Absurd? It is, as may quite easily be seen, that I, a rational being, must act in a case where my reason, my powers of reflection, tell me: you can just as well do the one thing as the other, that is to say where my reason and reflection say: you cannot act and yet here is where I have to act... The Absurd, or to act by virtue of the absurd, is to act upon faith ... I must act, but reflection has closed the road so I take one of the possibilities and say: This is what I do, I cannot do otherwise because I am brought to a standstill by my powers of reflection.

iphones [Tuesday, 04.01.2008 20:30]
I need iphones. Lots of them. If you want to work out a deal where you buy iphones and I buy them from you for a premium then let me know. USPS has a flat rate international box for like 9 bucks. The only way you can get them without a ATT contract is from an apple store.

New Zealand, etc. [Saturday, 03.08.2008 20:11]
I was in Fiji. Here is proof.

I took Sam job hunting immediately.

A gentleman's club for grandpa?

Probably the chillest dog ever.

Me in Albert Park.

Finnish gas mask that covers the whole head. Paypal me if you want one. You know who you are.

Sam and me being disgusting.

We decided to buy a car to travel the country with. Meet the Poopship Destroyer.

We're wwoofing on a farm in Nelson at the moment. It would be obnoxious to convey the perfectness of it all. More pictures later.

This is a really good article that explains why you are so miserable. I don't mean you "understood". I mean YOU. There's a 40% chance you will take that the wrong way.

So the district I went to elementary and middle school in is in serious danger of losing its accreditation and federal funding. I hope to present this in court while suing them for a botched education. Only 2 other districts in the nation have lost accreditation in the last 20 years. Pretty slick Clayton County, pretty slick. They have the absolute shittiest jail this side of Mexico as well. That speaks volumes, I think. Here's the scoop:

So, we all missed this one...

Amusingly, I was linked to this from live journal of which I can't determine the sucktitude, compared to myspace, being greater or not. That may be the worst sentence I have ever written.

This guy is playing a hang drum. You can only get them if you travel to Switzerland and pay like 1000 dollars for one. There have been some that have sold on ebay for 10k.

If any of my friends are secretly the Devil laying in wait, I will sell my soul for this drum and dedicate my petty life to playing it and then my delicious eternal soul is all yours. Please.

Ok, so, Rambo is actually pretty good, but would you have ever guessed that it has an 8.2 star rating with over 10k votes on IMDB? That's just insane.

I've heard from several people that the craigslist personal ads are hilarious. This is the first one I found...

It's Official [Wednesday, 01.23.2008 18:17]
Sam and I are moving to New Zealand. We bought our plane tickets today. We are departing from LAX on March 2. We had planned on going back last Summer and changed our minds and then changed our minds again in the last few months.

This time around should be interesting now that I've gained so much perspective. I do feel as though my time back here has been mostly a mental regression back to my pre-NZ state, but I have maintained some of the most personal improvements that may be transparent to many of the people I know.

If this move is anything like last time, combined with Sam's presence, I have the highest hopes for joy and success. There is no goal really, other than to simply enjoy living every day. I've come to grips with the possibility that I will most likely never be satisfied while tied to a place for a long time, and may very well move again. To where, who knows, but I do not view it as running from something. New places instill drive and passion within me, and the will to fix my problems, not run from them. Remaining in the same place for too long makes me feel progressively lazier, and more likely to ignore my problems regardless of being totally cognizant of them.

Nothing can stop me, unless I stop me.

CAMPING [Tuesday, 12.18.2007 14:15]
It's time to go camping this weekend.

This is where we are going.

http://www.hikercentral.com/campgrounds/115761.html
http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/sixrivers/recreation/smith-river/campgrounds/panther-flat/

Ideally, I would like to call in sick to work on Friday and then go, but I already did that for the two days before Thanksgiving, and although I kind of want to get fired, I should probably avoid this because I like to buy things with money.

Secondly, it's going to be cold as shit and no one is going to be there and we are going to get really trashed and hopefully not fall in Tallulah Gorge, the second deepest whatever it is in America, next to the biggest land-asshole of all, the Grand Canyon.

Lastly, who the fuck is going?
