I had my third class tonight, it's going ok. Wearing headphones is the best thing ever since it helps me drain out the idiots.
The teacher loaned me a buck for a soda tonight, so that makes her cool. I was just asking if there was a machine but I didn't have any money and then she offered and kinda wouldn't take "that's ok" for an answer. But I'll just remember to refill my change purse so that I can pay her back next time.
The soda really helped though because I was so drowsy in the first half.
Anyway, we are preparing for a yard sale in October so I've dredged out a lot of stuff that I had deemed, 'too good to toss, but I don't have enough room for'. I really hope a decent amount of people show up because I'd love to raise some dough for disney world.

I had nothing but wierd confrontational dreams last night. Including one where I woke up today, at 4 in the morning and started driving to New Jersey for some crazy reason and that I was having trouble turning around anywhere. Then I dreamt that Mom and I went to a bakery at like 7am, and I got really mad at mom. Then I dreamt that I was at the Cranbury warehouse first thing in the morning on their next open day and that instead of shopping. One of my co-workers Erin, had me cleaning really mean lobsters. I mean huge and nasty and I was SUPPOSED to take their rubber bands off but they were like killer lobsters. Finally I mananged to get rid of them.
Then wierd things were happening at the warehouse and I had to fight a lot of people and it was really creepy.
Wierd, wierd, dreams.

I was tidying up and found a very unpleasant surprise from Majestic....*sigh*
As long as the weather is warm...I WANT HER OUTSIDE!
The other cats are being good, except Fang, he's been missing for 2 weeks. It's been years since he's done anything like this, and I really don't know what to do about it. I know that I won't find him if I go looking, I've been through that before. I have to hope that he's ok and will come home soon :(

A team of explorers consisting of a composer reaching for something no one else can hear, a cynical religious practitioner with a secretly soft heart, an underground hero, an evil twin, and a Prussian discover an artifact from the deep forest. Complications ensue involving class warfare, a fountain in a deserted plaza, and vulnerability.
I think I could try to make something out of this.

I started watching seaquest. It's been a long time since I've seen that show. It makes me miss Jonathan Brandis. And I totally forgot that Darwin wasn't a real dolphin! Thinking on it, I remember seeing something on tv once when the show was new explaning how he worked or something but damn does he look real!

Geni and I just got back from the drive in, we saw "The Dark Knight". And it was good, but I can't help but think, "what just happened?"
It was kinda confusing and even though it was long it didn't seem that long, I think the reason that it felt so confusing was due to the character of the Joker. Heath did a great job, and I think the point was that his character was supposed to be confusing and it was a lesson Bruce had to learn. That you can't figure out all criminals and that they aren't all the same sort.

I'm back, Vegas was fun and stuff. I didn't get back just now, but of course I've been putzing online. The plane ride back was much better than the one to Vegas.

Ok, so I was so upset I wasn't able to post anything nice about my trip so far!
Oh well, it's really sad because it was still a fun ride and the borg 4D ride is only a couple years old. And I was excited to see if they'd do something when the new movie came out. But when these big shots make their stupid (oh so smart decisions to them) nothing will change their minds.
Well, we were supposed to leave for vegas at Newark at 7'ish...we left past ten. We got to Vegas at midnight local time, and of course our rental company was closed. So we got a car from another one and got to the hotel.
But the good side: My cold is getting better, we were upgraded for free to a deluxe room which is beautiful and has a huge whirlpool tub and walk in shower. Today we started off at the Qua spa, which was very relaxing. We got our power passes and dropped off the Cruiser we got for last night and got our enterprise car. The guy at enterprise said he wouldn't charge us for the second driver :)
We got some water at Target ('cause hell no am I paying five bucks for a bottle of water in the mini fridge!) Pisses me off because the mini fridge has so many nice looking drinks ;) If only were we just slightly over priced instead of horrendously over priced.
Anyway, we had a late lunch at In and Out burger which was pretty good. Eventually we went to Quarks to have an appetizer and a beer. When we were talking to the bartender about how much we loved the place, he told us it was closing :(
Their lease ends December but they have to pack everything up by Sept 1st. I wish it was Jan 1st because then I'd have had a chance to come back with Geni. But there is no way I could come before Sept 1st, and seriously that is like the hottest time of year here.
Sooo...basically Mom and I plan to go there everyday our power pass is good for so we can get sick of it and hopefully not miss it so much.
Tommorow, we'll do a bunch of stuff and go to the experience and then head to freemont at night and see a movie, we get a free movie each day of the pass at the Neopolis at freemont. I want to see Wall-E.

They are closing Star Trek the Experience...in September! If I knew I'd have come when Geni could come!!! WTF, they only made it public like yesterday. The bartender told us, I was having such a nice day until then. And it's because the Hilton won't renew the lease, they think they can't make more money with the space. Yeah right, the place is boring as hell and has terrible service. There was no reason to go there before the experience.
Anyway, even if you don't care about Star Trek, please do me a favor, go to this page http://www.lvhilton.com/contact/emailform-cc.php
and say that you'll never visit the Hilton because they refused to renew the lease. It'll just make me feel a bit less sad. :(
Geez, it was such a buzzkill. It's such a fun ride and the bar is awesome and it was so much fun!!!

1.) I visited the Great Pyramids of Giza.
2.) Snorkled at the Great Barrier Reef
3.) Passed the Nanowrimo challenge in November 2006.
So pretty tame since it mainly involves travel. But I have learned that most people don't get to travel as much as I have, 'cause I was/am pretty lucky :)

I dropped my night class. We haven't had 5 classes in a row, and I called them today and they didn't know when the teacher would be back. So I asked them if I could just get credit for another class and I did. Which is cool because there are two night classes in the fall that I want to take.
This class was kinda babyish too, but I still have the text, so I can just review it myself. Maybe I'll find some other course to take this summer to enrich myself ;)

I had my first day of work today. It went pretty good, everyone seems pretty cool and I only had 19 hours for next week but by the end of the day I switched shifts with one lady and got 21. Actually the one lady said that she is trying to sell her house so that she can move to NJ. I wonder if when she does, there might be a full time gig....
Well I can hope, because I won't be able to pay my bills on PT. Luckily I'm not flat broke just yet. *sigh*

I got the job at Lenox! :D yay! I really needed to get work too, my checking account is quite low and there is Vegas at the end of the month and while I won't be making a fortune or anything every bit helps!
I start Wed, but I'm going to pick up my new hire packet tommorow and drop it off tues so she can get me in the system, I know how that is! hehe
And at least the dress code is ok. I can wear khakis and nicer casual tops without logos. I have lots of t-shirts that fit that category and I can wear white sneakers! Working at macys with black shoes and black this and black that was so hard, this way I should be a lot cooler anyway. I'm going to stop at walmart and get khakis. They had some decent ones the last time I was there and at least they don't cost a fortune.
I've actually bought some quite nice stuff there every now and then, not always but better pants then Lane Bryant, I hate their pants!
I need to ask her how I get paid, I hope it's weekly but we'll see.

I beat Kingdom Hearts! And I got the secret ending to :D
It may not seem like a big deal (well it's not really) but I've played video games on and off, and gotten really into some for awhile. BUT I have never won any of them! In fact, I think most were designed to be impossible to beat unless you were a genius or something. Anyway, I'm so kewl ;)
Now I have to wait for Geni to beat it so I can move onto the sequel because she wants me to wait. I have a Naruto video game I can do in the meanwhile.
I never heard from Lenox :( I really thought I was going to get that one, oh well. Back to the drawing board.
In other news I nearly broke my ankle today, luckily it's just a little sore. I was walking down the steps and landed stupidly on one foot twisting it a little. But I put an ice pack on it right away and it's ok I think.
