BCFF October: SPOOKY! [Oct. 5th, 2006|07:48 pm] I have to admit that there were quite a few things that I was thinking about drawing for this Blind Contour (SPOOKY!). My current life is full of wondering around apartment at odd hours/in strange light and I have to admit quite a few very-very ordinary things reminded me about upcoming Halloween recently :) But what puts me in a real October mood is a tome of short stories by Paul Bowels that I am reading these days. So - I tried to draw it - on several attempts. At the end I surrendered to the fact that portrait and book don't fit into one blind contour. BCFF July: Sky [Jul. 6th, 2006|03:01 pm] this was a piece of sky available for me today - I did it in 2 blind installments - first leaves with marker, then I submerged paper in a pot containing water for my plants (I had to look where I was placing paper in order not to kill my Monsteras (aka Split Leaf Philodendron (Monstera deliciosa)) - so this part was not done blindly;) And then I used droppers from my liquid watercolors to add some color - blindly again. link 14 comments|post comment
