Opera
As of today, Opera decided to drop it's ad/license requirements.
Funny. I just got a license for free when they decided to give 'em away for free in celebration of their 10 anniversary. I like it so far, there are little nitpicky things I could care less about but all in all it's nice to have 2 browsers superior to IE that are regularly updated available to the masses. Not that all of a sudden denizens will flock.
Steve Jobs reported today that now the record labels want him to hike the price per MP3 and he is refusing to. I like him more and more. It's funny how fucking greedy the labels are, it's not enough that many flocked to itunes and gone legit, it's not enough that people are paying $1 per track, that record companys can skip manufacturing so many cds and get to keep what used to be spent on it... They want more and my open message to them is "fuck off, assholes". I'm so disgusted by this.
