This is one of the first icons I made.  I wanted some expressive icons that reflected my interests, and this is what I came up with.  I love Chucks.  I currently have ten pairs, including the ones in this icon!

A couple of months ago it occured to me that my icons were almost exclusively Veronica Mars themed, so I went off looking for some to represent my other interests.  I loved Wonderfalls, and my favorite character on the show was Aaron Tyler, and so that's why I picked this icon.

And here's one of those Veronica Mars icons I was talking about.   This is actually one of my favorite icons.  I love Logan, and the expression on his face here is just too cute!

Although I don't talk about it much here in my journal, I am a huge fan of sci-fi/fantasy books.  Sometimes they feature werewolves, so I figured this was a good icon to use when posting my booklist.  Plus the artwork is pretty darn cool!

This is another of my early icons (and hey, what do you know, it's from Veronica Mars).  I use it for all my memes.  This was my favorite Dick scene of all times, and I just had to make an icon of it.  I'm especially fond of the caption...

Author's Notes: I know I said I wasn't going to post any more of this story until I had finished it, but it was taking longer than I hoped, and, well, I was afraid everyone would give up on me.  This isn't the best chapter I've written (and it's totally un-beta-ed, so feel free to point out any glaring errors) but it does do the job of moving the story along, which is all I really asked of it...

So, I didn't get my fic finished last month like I had hoped.  Real life is kind of sucking right now.  (Don't ask.)  Plus I've been more interested in reading than writing.  I've read a ton of books in the past month.  But it's not like I've totally been slacking on the writing.  I have over 13,000 words written.  And I know I said I wasn't going to post any more chapters until it was finished, but I think I'll make an exception.  I feel bad making you all wait, so I'm planning on posting the next chapter sometime this week.

...I have decided not to post any more chapters of Anthology until I've finished writing the whole story.  Before you freak out too much I should tell you that I've been writing quite a bit lately and the end is in sight.  For some reason, however, the scenes are coming to me out of order.  I actually have about 10,000 words written so far.  (Yes, that's right, 10,000.  Can you tell there's a research paper I should be writing RIGHT NOW?  It seems procrastination is my motivation.)  Right now I'm just putting those already written scenes in order and filling in the gaps.  As soon as I get the first draft completed I'll start posting the chapters as they're proofed.  I seriously hope to have this done by the end of this month but, because of the aforementioned paper, I'm not making any promises.

I just hope that someone out there will still want to read it when I'm done...

...and my class was cancelled, and therefore I had a lot of extra time on my hands...

Watching television shows or reading books with well-written, well-thought out plots. If it really draws me in I have trouble shutting my brain down when it's finished. I have stories and dialogue running through my mind, distracting me from my work and keeping me up at night. Sometimes the only way I can turn it off is to sit down and let them spill out onto my keyboard.

I made more icons.  They're not particularly thrilling, but I had fun digging through quotes to make them.
