glee is iTunes randmoizing onto your first dance song. I specifically chose something a bit obscure so it'd be a real treat and happy surprise when it would pop up.

It did. It was.

I love you my heart.

HAHAHAH!

I received an eblast from a marketing group today. They give a headline and the first couple sentences for each topic. This one cracked me up and really caused me to think twice

The Palin Parable
by Danny Flamberg - September 15, 2008

The choice of Sarah "Barracuda" Palin as the GOP "Trophy Vice" candidate has set off the most intense and creative political debate in my lifetime. John McCain's gambit short circuited Obama's post-convention momentum, shifted the terms of debate, refocused and energized our examination of the issues and brought huge numbers of people off the bench and into the rhetorical, if not political, fray.

Emphasis mine. Do you see it? McCain gave up his first wife for a rich trophy wife and now he's got a trophy vice. God how I love that phrase. Spread it around. Maybe all the women who are dumb enough to even think about voting that way because of a woman being the VP candidate will stop and think again. Especially those divorcees who were left for a trophy wife to begin with.

Oh, and by the way, why is it that no one remembers Geraldine Ferarro, the FIRST female VP candidate?

Why can I not have a yard sale on a decent day?!

Last one it was threatening rain and ended up being 90 degrees and a huge accident occurred blocking people from the street, limiting how many came. Granted, we sold a fair bit of stuff, but I still have tons to go.

SO I scheduled another yard sale, flyered at Neo, Spot 6 and such. Tomorrow there's a 90% chance of rain. We've got the basement of the building to do it in, so we could still have it, but is it even worth it? Are the gofflings going to come? I haven't posted it on Craigslist yet. Haven't posted to chicago goths on LJ or anything either. But all the people who would buy anything at it were people where I flyered... but I didn't mention the rain plan on the fliers so how do they know it's still going to happen?

I suppose I should go ahead an do it, I only planned on doing it till 1pm anyway. I can always paint umbrellas if no one comes.

Blergh! I just want rid of all this stuff I don't use anymore.

Hey Lazy webs! Here's a story for you and I need you to help me at the end of it.

October 14, 2003, Moises Alou came to Dinkle's Bakery to pick up a cake for his son, Percio's birthday. I happened to work right next door at a t-shirt printing company. We had made a bunch of "the Series for Santo" shirts as this game could (and we all expected would) lead to the Cubs getting into the World series.

My coworkers went crazy and grabbed a few shirts, ran over and had hem sign them. I got one of those shirts.

4 or 5 hours later. A pop-fly was hit to Left Field. Steve Bartman caught it right out of the hands of Moises Alou. If that hadn't happened the cubs might have actually made it to the World Series that year.

Needless to say, the Cubs didn't make it to the World Series and everyone has blamed Bartman sense.

What I want to know is how do I document the shirt so that I can sell it on Ebay?

Any ideas folks?

I need to make a cast. I don't want it rock hard or heavy. And, the important part, it's of something fabric so it should be heavy enough to smoothout the plastic divisions but shouldn't be so heavy that I need to support it from the opposite side.

I initially was trying to do it with expanding foam that you use for sealing windows and such. This sort of might work but 1 out of 4 cans was bad and not usable and I needed probably another 8 cans to fill it all in... Ouch, that's expensive.

Anyone have any suggestions?
