why do i always think buying another doll is a waste of money because i could have almost bought a blythe? haha. when i gamble at the casino it's so hard because i'm thinking "i could just buy a blythe doll." ; when i win i think "i can buy blythe dolls!"

i came close to buying a new pullip.. but i'm happy with the two pullips i have now.. i hardley have room for them! i also want soo so bad a bluefairy doll, a pocketfairy. i've wanted a yoko for so long! she's such a doll baby!!!!! then everyone posted sweet photos of her and it makes me drool. booo.. but so expensive.

i still kick myself because i saw darling diva at blythe style in japan and i didn't sign up for the lottery.. i just thought.. "hmmm.. she's pretty! i love the new face mold!" then i walked away. i was too happy to finally be with my long time friend, bea, to be worrying about a blythe lottery. boo! now i am so mad i didn't sign up! she's gorgeous! i loooove the new face mold and her gorgeous snowy hair!

Today I had toast with orange marmalade for breakfast. The bread slices are larger and square in Japan. Why is American bread always so pathetic compared to the other countries' bread? :p

Today we went to supermarkets for groceries and basics. I saw many cute things. Here in the big stores, they're all together under one place and each little area has it's own cash register. I got a market and Rilakuma notepad to write some letters. I forgot to bring stationary!! I also got my best friend a gift and a cute card.

For lunch we had pan fried soba. It was very tasty. I don't remember the sauce they use to fry it in, but I'll ask later and make sure to try and make it. ;)

Today after lunch I talked to ben for awhile online and then went to hang out in my room with Eri. We took photos of things we had bought and she worked on her scrapbook (aka minibum, hahaha). I want a little scrapbook! I've been saving little papers from all the shops and I want to store them inside a scrapbook. Haha. What am I talking about? I still never did it with my Paris stuff.. I need to for Japan though, my dream completed. ^____^

We looked at my kitty egg mould and she decided to boil some eggs. We made a cute kitty egg and I took step-by-step photos for you to see, haha. This is the first egg, the second egg did not have it so good. In fact, it was a sad sight. I pealed off too much egg and it was a kitty with no ears. The first egg was delicious! The yolk looks different than ours.. I put soy sauce on it and now I love boiled eggs, haha. Previously they made me gag. It's also nice that they look like kitty-chan.

For dinner the host mother wanted me to cook my favorite dish she made, the potatoes and cream, so I could know how to cook it well and she could tell me. I made it and it was VERY tasty again. ^_~ I also had tofu salad, salad, grilled fish, rice and miso soup.

After dinner we went shopping at a market again and then I came home for a shower and we had fruit at night. We had kiwi and watermelon. I think they wanted to get kiwi because I told them I liked it when we were talking about fruits. I love strawberries, kiwis and pineapples! Delicious!

blythe modeling hair products!

At night I worked on my journal, TRYING to complete it so I can be caught up. ^_^ I wasn't going to make a journal -- but just keep a small memo on my treo of the things I did.. then I wanted to make a journal of it and add photos. So it's been tough getting it caught up! I'm always too busy to do anything.

blythe madness!

Current Mood ecstatic ecstatic

FINALLY! My first day off!!
For breakfast I had a bagel and orange Qoo. I was excited*excited today because Eri said she would take me to see Gina Garan at the special signing at Junie Moon! She invited her friend Seiko and Seiko's host sister from when she stayed in the states. Her name is Tessa. They were both really nice and sweet.

We got confused on the way to Junie Moon and got a little lost. Finally we found it and I bought a book and postcard for Gina to sign! She said she saw me as soon as I walked in through door. She said I looked really familiar and she couldn't figure it out. I told her my name, Amber, and she knew the area I was from and things because we had talked online/snail mail a couple times years ago. YEEEE. She was soo kind and so was Junko Wong. They kept offering photos and Junko wanted to put me on the website in a photo. I saw Gina's new dolls and met Jam Fancy. :) I love the new dolls, it's such a great take on dolls and I can't wait to have one!

gina's new dolls!

I was crazy here and wanted everything! I got 2 Dolly Dolly magazines, a Blythe skirt and a small patch (maybe for a shirt!).

Afterwards we decided to eat at a small Japanese restaraunt. I had miso soup and a rice bowl with egg and pork. I didn't like it, it was a little sweet and their pork was a little fatty. I tried macha salt on some of it and I didn't really taste it. :p

We went to walk around Shibuya after this and Tessa and I talked about photos and neat buildings. The girls were very nice! I think Tessa was really tired but I had wanted to see Shibuya so much, so they walked around it for awhile. I saw Momo, my love, on a wall of an arcade and wanted to go inside! I have to go back later!!

We got tired walking around and decided to find a coffee shop. ALL of them were packed and I saw Hagen Das and of course the icecream dishes looked AMAZING and ADORABLE, but it was also packed! We eventually came to one cafe in the station and I had a 'Mother's Crepe' and ice coffee which was VERY STRONG. My crepe was strawberry choco cream. YUMM, even better than the last one!

strawberry choco special

When we got home we sat with the family and I finally was able to spend some time with the host brother. The host brother likes Capilco also so we both had some. I also had tasty orange Qoo.

I took a shower and then went to lay down in bed, but I couldn't sleep because I was SOOOSOSOSO excited and happy from the amazing day that I will NEVER forget. <3
