An Attitude of Abundance
As I walked out of work this afternoon, I was struck by a thought which partially echoed a realization that I had enjoyed late last month. I already have what I need. I don't need to worry about having or not having. I don't need to expend energy going after something, someone, some idea. For I already apprehend them. What I need is inside of me. What I need is already all around me. A pervasive within/without me. Words fail me. For now. Edit: I think what I will do to reinforce this is develop a daily habit that I can practice while I am driving to work. I will reflect upon this realization and experience the sense of gratitude I feel when I think about where I am in life, the people I know, and the work that I am engaged in. Cafe Gratitude seeks LA location
Can you help? From today's newsletter: Greetings! Cafe Gratitude in Los AngelesGratitude community, We are happy to announce that we are in a commited search of a location for a Cafe Gratitude in the Los Angeles area. We currently are working with a realtor looking for available restaraunt locations. Being that we are in San Francisco, we are requesting that our supporters in Los Angeles keep your eyes and ears open for our perfect home in LA. We are thinking Venice/Santa Monica, and West Hollywood areas and we are open to any and all possibilities. What we are looking for in a restaraunt space is as follows: Between 2,000 and 3,500 sq. feet, outdoor seating, a beer and wine license, a full bar, natural lighting, 150 amps of electricity, foot traffic, and plenty of parking. We are excited to continue creating a world of plenty, and a nourished and thankful community with you. Thank you for coming together to support organic agriculture, sustainability, sacred commerce, and Cafe Gratitude. Please be in touch with any information that would help us serve you sooner. JMan: You killed my father!
SBee: No, Luke, I AM your father.
JMan (passionately): Nooooooooooooooooo!
I am ROTFLMAO!
They've been replaying and refining this scene for the past 5 minutes.
Oh yeah, and arguing canon as pertains to the original trilogy and the new one.

Zoo
I spent 7hrs at the zoo with the kids, my friend, and his granddaughter.
I am still recovering.
He and I conked out about 2 hrs into the visit. LOL We really really conked out about 2 hours before the time we actually left.
The kids had a ton of fun and made a new friend. In the end, that's what matters. Tags: kids, zoo Current Mood: recovering

Bayesian Weirdness
In a bizarre confluence of events I find myself needing to understand Bayesian analysis for some research I've just started. Any help (being pointed in a productive direction) would be much appreciated. *shaking head in amusement and looking pointedly at boffo for one and candid for another* It's a conspiracy.
