♥Well, it's finally here! This little icon journal was created on February 28, 2005. ♥
♥I want to thank EVERYONE for all of your support and just plain awesomeness for visiting this icon journal. It really does mean a lot to me. So thank you, everyone!! ♥
♥I could bore you by rambling on about why I created this icon journal in the first place and all that jazzhands, but I totally re-did my USERINFO with all that stuff. RULES AND STUFF.
1. You may request TWO icons.
2. GIVE ME A PICTURE TO USE!!! If I don't have a picture, I can't make you an icon! It's as simple as that, folks! If you just say you want "An icon of Envy from FMA", I'm going to ignore your request. I need a SPECIFIC PICTURE! Also, if the picture you are using has one or more person, be sure to tell me who to make the icon of! I'm not a physcic people!
3. If you want text, tell me what you want on it! I'll try my best with text, and if you ask for text on your icon, I'll probably give you a textless icon as well because I'm picky with the icons I make. :D
4. Tell me what kind of style you want! If there's a specific icon I've made, tell me to make it like that one. Also tell me what kind of colors you want used in the icon. If you don't tell me these things, I'll just do whatever I want to your icon (And that could be good or bad! Ph34r!) XD
5. DO NOT BUG ME TO HAVE YOUR ICON DONE IN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME!!! Making icons isn't always as easy as it looks, and remember people, some icon makers charge you to make icons!! I'm doing this for free! Out of the kindness in my heart. :D XD Yeah, whatever...

Hello all! :D How're we doing today? Lots and LOTS of comments on my last post, which makes me a happy panda~! ^^
All of the icon requests are officially FINISHED! Had a few issues with some that took a while to correct, so that's why it's been so long. XP They were a huge success, which once again makes me happy, and I guess I'll have to do another one in the future, ne? :D
Anyway, some people were asking for variations of some icons in previous posts (Rainbow icons, 50/50 seme/uke icon, FFVII: Advent Children Icons) and I have done my best to fufil those requests! ^^ Remember people, these were only suggestions, not full-fledged icon requests, so don't try and get an icon out of me. ♥
I'm reposting the seme and uke icons because people seemed to like those a lot last time!
I also have a new layout that I made myself, but since I suck with color combinations, it probably looks wanky. Oh well. :D;;
Lastly, feel free to add this journal! I'll most certainly add you back, and you'll probably get my icons sooner because it takes time to post the link here all over LJ! ^^

Well! I'm back here again with more icons for you! Not as many as usual this time, sorry! ;__; But anyway, I put up a resource post, and I am in the progress of making an affliate post with banners, but I have been busy with summer school. x_X;

Well, I have a new batch of icons for you! I went a little Naruto crazy this time, so Naruto fans rejoice! XD I don't really have much to say this time except that I'll be working on my affiliates page for those of you who commented (And those who want to be added can ask there) with banners for my journal since some of you have requested them, and I also severly need to make a resource post because trust me, I use a lot of people's brushes! Woo! Well, this is my 3rd icon post. How exciting~! Anyway, a fewthings to say before I unveil the icons. I have started using brushes on my icons and therefore, it is harder to put text on them. So, you'll most likely seeing a lot more icons here that are made to be WITHOUT text, and therefore, I ask you to not custimize those bases. Some bases, however, are still fine for customizing. Therefore, I have come up with a little system so you can tell which icons are customizible. Any icon's which number is BOLDED is free to be customized! Thank you!
Also, anyone who would like to become an Affiliate to akaru_icons comment in this entry with a name which you'd like to be called. Thanks!!!
Also, I am pretty self-concious of my icons and that is why I do not take icon requests...I don't want to make someone an ugly icon that they hate and so on and so forth. But anyway, if you're interested in me taking requests, leave a comment saying that you'd like me to start making customized icons. The more people who do this, the better chance it'll happen!! Thanks!! <3
Lastly, I'm going to make a post soon listing all the resources I've used, but I give credit to teh_indy and cdg_brushes for my icons and thanks to vilgx and darkchan for helping me out with adding text! Thank you! ♥

Well, since the last icon post, I have made a HUGE inprovement in my icons (Well, atleast I believe so.). The most important thing that I've learned to do is create borders around icons. After I figured that out, I've been making borders around some of my old icons that I liked. If there is an icon from my last post that you liked and would like me to make a border around it, just comment and I'll re-post the icon with a border. ^_^ The same is with some of these icons! These are not all new icons.
Okay, kids, same rules apply. COMMENT AND CREDIT! Bases MAY BE CUSTOMIZED but you MUST CREDIT ME!! If this does not work out, I will no longer make bases.
