03:10 am - almost a month since My peace and quiet was stolen from me When I was looking with calm affection You were searching out my imperfections
What wasted unconditional love On somebody Who doesn't believe in the stuff
You came upon me like a hypnic jerk When I was just about settled And when it counts you recoil With a cryptic word and leave a love belittled
Oh what a cold and common old way to go I was feeding on the need for you to know me Devastated at the rate you fell below me
What wasted unconditional love On somebody Who doesn't believe in the stuff
Oh, well

01:50 pm And it's alright, yeah I'll be fine Don't worry 'bout this heart of mine Just take your love and hit the road There's nothing you can do or say You're gonna break my heart anyway So just leave the pieces when you go

01:52 am - 2007 it's been a HUGE year for me! as inspired by Cassie, one sentence (or a little more) from an entry from every month.
jan- don't tell my parents there are actually two old men living in my dorm.
feb- my intro to mac teacher made me get up and lecture about photoshop.
march- i'm not really sure what to do with my hostile roomate situation.
april- i'm feeling anxious about my final work. i have one portrait of the upper portion of this , a copy of a master drawing (some chinese artist, i can't read the name), a power point presentation (about fencing *nerd alert*), and a "fantasy head" sculpture.
may- so im on the island, its beautiful, cool, and radioactive. ryan a i took some walks last night and attempted to explore some houses in the quarantined zone, we were unsuccessfull because neither of us are too keen on climbing fences.
june- flew into sf, nothing totally surprising or anything. it was my first time traveling alone so i suppose you could take note of that. i got to the commodore long after check in, saw some familiar faces including Austin's.
july- reasons why i rock at life:
i played a game of tag team conversational chess to get an apartment i partied and slacked off all during finals with no effect on my grades i spent only four hours on my final drawing and got an A i convinced a frame shop owner to open three hours early for me to mat my drawing before class tonight i'm going on my second outing with Ayman i have awesome friends in two states
aug- so far my day sucks. i stayed up really late working on a drawing that didn't get a very good grade, left my thermos of tea at home so i couldn't stay awake in class, and got my period on the way to class. i haven't gotten gotten a single phone call, email (not even facebook), or text in two and a half days, ever since i texted Ayman asking him what's up.
sept- so it turns out he was two timing me (or he found someone else very fast) and now he's with her. so to protect myself from all the bad feelings of meeting and comparing myself to this person i have to avoid my friends the only time i can see them. i was spending saturday night at the abandoned laundromat, and attractive couples were looking at me like an exhibit at the zoo.
oct- alright but i gotta make it quick. his name is Sean, we met at Grace Cathedral, went down to Jasmines's Cafe for dinner, and explored some of the ritzy hotels at the top of Nob Hill. We found a rooftop garden with huge palm trees and a fountain. Then we went back to Grace for the Nob Hill Vampire Tour. There were about 25 people there and two were a television crew who were freelancing it for CBS San Mateo
nov- it just infuriates me how someone could be willfully, proudly ignorant. like it's a good thing.
dec- Finally home, whew! My mom told me there was a 'theme' to the gifts i got for christmas, although she never said what. I decided the theme was "domestic diva" Current Music: Mia- paper planes

09:33 pm - Christmas Finally home, whew! My mom told me there was a 'theme' to the gifts i got for christmas, although she never said what. I decided the theme was "domestic diva", and I can't help but fee like there was some sort of message hidden in each gift. Let me try to interpret: -Vacuum: for cleaning the house -Sewing machine: for making baby clothes, and quilts, also flower print moomoos -sewing supplies: for the things above -Princess perfume set: so i can smell like the OC moms -Iron: for ironing, obviously -stephen colbert, I am america and so can you: just something on my list -easel: for the fancy art school where i will meet my future husband -Cooking Mama for DS: training for my inescapable future -Rune Factory for DS: Just because its awesome. -Kiragami calandar: an obvious encouragement to take up scrap booking -cooking supplies: so i can cook for my man

10:38 pm why do people treat me like i'm crazy for being politically aware? someone has to care. edit: it just infuriates me how someone could be willfully, proudly ignorant. like it's a good thing. let me ask you, do you want another holocaust on your hands? i'm not saying that's what will happen, but its the perfect example of how terrible atrocities can be committed by a government and no one is the wiser. bear in mind the world didn't know about the camps until after the war, which is a pretty big cover up, wouldn't you say? considering all the people involved. government conspiracy and the following cover ups are widely accepted as fact, yet it is considered crazy to suspect one in the making or recognize one in the recent past. i blame the moon landing people, they fucked it all up.

04:47 pm - a postcard to all you howdy from the lone star state! it's the state with the most executions, kill em all and let god sort them out that's what we Texans say. i went to Galveston Island all day, which was pretty nice. i haven't played in the ocean since i was little :D they also had a pretty big aquarium which really made me want sushi, so i'm trying to persuade my parents to buy me some. i was gonna maybe hit up the museum of fine art only a couple of blocks from Justin's which has really cool looking exhibit on Japanese modern art. missing you, alli

03:43 pm - school i'm in the library using the good internet! im actually supposed to be doing two papers due for tuesday, but i got distracted looking at pictures of naked men for my anatomy final. speaking of naked pictures, i was in line at walgreens and this chick was going thorugh and touching up photos of herself in the bathtub, in front of everyone. she must have had a hundred of them O___O i'm really burnt out on school, i only have a three week break before next semester, which looks like this:
Color & Design Still life painting 1 15th century art history perspective
i wanted to take only three, but my third adviser told me that in order to get financial aid I have to be a full time student. that sucks, that is an insane class load and in my defense color & design is two classes in one, it's right in the name. i can't wait to go home to somewhere that's not a hotel room. it'll be so much easier to do my homework and control what i eat, and i can sleep solid and not have to have the awkwardness of living with a stranger. plus i can have people over and not be treated like i'm in fucking summer camp. let's make a happy home together, Mae!

06:16 pm - fuuuuuccckkkkk i don't have enough identification to get identification to get the money my mom wired to me so that i can live. i wore my feet out running around town because i have no change for the bus, to FOUR different western unions because each one said they could not help me, but the next definitely could. i got to the last one only to discover that my picture student id was not in fact a picture id, even though it plainly was. i can't buy a measly piece of charcoal for class and i'm washing my clothes in the sink.

08:12 pm - Allison fever, catch it! ever have one of those days when you feel charmed? Noah added an album on facebook dedicated to pictures of me, i ran into Randal on the on the sidewalk twice, Tor finally wrote back, and I exchanged looks and a "hey" with this guy I've been exchanging looks and 'heys' with for a while. too bad i have to waste my charmed-ness on anatomy drawings for tomorrow. 10:19 pm why is he totally oblivious to the fact that he's a complete ass? he's known for being an ass for christ sake. he seriously thinks he's not being cruel when he implies that i'm fat and unattractive and not only that has the balls to tell me that there's no way someone like noah could love me.he went so far as to tell me my victory over him meant nothing because he was parrying and not attacking. he's so small minded he can't understand why someone would be involved in fencing other than to smack people around. he actually has no recollection of being constantly lectured about his behavior by everyone. he really does have his head that far up his ass.

12:13 am - new place flew into sf, nothing totally surprising or anything. it was my first time traveling alone so i suppose you could take note of that. i got to the commodore long after check in, saw some familiar faces including Austin's. he's moved out of the other apartment because Kao stole from him. i arrived in my room fearful of what might be, i guessed she was Asian based on the pech'e japanese cigarettes by the window and began setting up, frantic and scared i'd have another Andria. my room is a hotel room, two full beds a tv cabinet with standard hotel tv in it and bathroom and closet just like the one in every hotel room you've ever stayed in (with i might add the hotel wall hairdryer still here). she entered the room and muttered something under her breath in what could've been any language and it sounded like disaster awaiting me. i bleated out a sheepish "hii" and was greeted by a medium tall Korean. her name is Heiwo, this is her third week ever in america, she was born in 1983 and she's an illustrator (graphic design) after much nervous laughter we continued talking and we have TONS in common. she likes scrubs and grey's anatomy, she LOVES tenacious d and alterative american rock like nirvana and also worships the ground Muse walks on and also theres ben folds and sean lennon and the smashing pumpkins... i was planning to drop in on fencing until she invited her girlfriends who are equally new to the country Someyeong and Ja Kyung to our room for a rice cooker made kimchi ramen party on the floor. i obliged, and we eventually went to the corner market for a beer run. the girls had no idea we had to hide the beer, and oddly enough had no idea how to exrtacate the cans from the six pack rings. Someyeong didn't stick around and i didn't learn more than the basic facts about her except that she is supposedly the most proficient english speaker of the three. it was an evening of constant talking and english lessons fueled by alcohol and a firey hatred for awkward silence. we continued talking about our favorite girl manga (hello peach girl), asian politics, japanese culture, horoscope and blood types etc etc.until i acted sleepy and Jya Kyung left.
