5:59a Opinions please!!!  Oki! So I've reached a point with my fursuit where I need to decide on a few details. Mainly, how humanoid do I want Anubis to be? Ie: Nippleage? (Hope that doesn't offend anyone)  Also, all of you and your awesome costumes have now passed on the Fursuiting bug to me and I'm already eager to start planning another one. (DAMNIT) I saw this picture on deviantart:      http://Sooper-Deviant.deviantart.com/art/Palla-s-Cat-9333-100004015 and the thought popped into my head that it would make for a magnificent future costume. I apologize if this is a bit odd and disjointed, I blame the insomnia.

3:37a friends...? its weird how... things happen and you find out who your friends really are. and i don't mean something drastic, just like simple things. like letting you know they are coming to your town for their fall break. or mentioning that they are going on a trip to somewhere far away. or telling you that something drastic happened to them. But it seems that there are just those people who are, like, magnetic and people always want to talk to them and ask them questions and tell them all about themselves and keep them informed. its weird to me how a lot of the people who consider themselves 'best friends' with me rarely, if ever, even bother to call me or even tell me when they are in town. yet, when i contact them, they are busy. and then they are offended when i don't inform them of something important. i mean honestly, how hard is it to care a little bit? I'm not trying to be bff with everyone. (i'm also not trying to offend people into running away from me :-D i'm nice, really). *sigh* it's really unnecessary for me to think this late/early. In other news, i got my hair cut! YAY!!!! I may or may not put a picture of it...somewhere (somewhere being myspace, one of my ljs, or facebook). um...i'm tired. but i wish i had some ice cream ;-) current mood: sleepy current music: um... danny phantom...

12:27a Sewing Unlined PVC? Ok so this isn't exactly fursuit related but I figured you guys would be able to answer my question. I just bought 6 meters of unlined high gloss (both sides) 180 mic. PVC which I hope to us to make a rain cape or cloak. Problem is I have no idea how to work with the stuff, stitch length, thread type, type of needle, best machine foot to use, etc etc. So if anybody has a tutorial, tips, tricks, advice, or anything like that it would be greatly appreciated. keep in mind this will be used in the rain so I'd like to make the seams as water proof as possible Thanks in Advance current mood: curious

11:53p Head making question Ok, I went through the memories and found many wonderful links on making fursuits.... BUT no one every says what kind of foam they use, or where to get it. I went to JoAnn's and Michael's and the only kind of foam they sell there is that green hard foam used for plants. A friend tells me sofa foam, like in furniture, but the only one we found was $15 for a tiny piece, and I sure am not going to go buy a sofa just to rip it to pieces. So what kind of foam is being used and where can I get it? Thanks.

10:56p vicky the raptor progress Sorry i've been gone i had a bad cold which progressed into laryngitis and i'm just starting to feel better after being sick for so long.  Here is my progress on vicky. I have got my tail finished and the claws look ok on the paws hands, but now i must turn my attention to the feet.  I don't think i'll have time to make the head before halloween. So im just going to work on a snout to cover my  jaw and nose line. I am a little troubled by this predicament i'm in cause it must be finished before halloween.   I must get some more material to make the claws on the feet i want them to be soft but shiny   for those who do not know this yet in allergic to latex so it can't have a whole lot of latex in it.   any suggestions on what type of material use to make them i have stuffing material so i need.
