How can I be ill in summer?
It has just taken me an hour and a half to read through my emails, livejournal friends list and rss reader feeds - one major drawback of long weekends - not having the internet at home is RUBBISH. This weekend I properly moved into my new house, which looks like this:

It was incredibly tiring - I'm sat at work feeling awful, and I can't tell whether I'm actually ill or just knackered - although it was good to finish unpacking and start to feel settled.
Last night I went to Sawdust Caesars to see Dustin's Bar Mitzvah, and had to leave after an hour or so as I thought my head was going to explode with pain and sickness.

I think it may be hayfever.

Devoted to what? Hm, my devotion is lacking in many areas I’m afraid.

If you're talking about the whole living-in-a-church thing, you may or may not be surprised to find that (within historically Christian communities anyway) religious belief is so infrequent here that there are now more converted churches than still-in-operation churches.

Or as Brandon Flowers says in this month's Q: "I've realised that while it's OK to believe in God in America - pretty much everybody here does - in the UK it makes you seem a little odd."

Ha. Sorry - emo religion rant.

And yes I am devoted to my friends-list, i check it every 5 minutes whilst at work, and totally freak out when it hasn't changed in a couple of hours.
The main problem is I refuse to get more than the 30-odd friends i've got now; mainly through fear of forcing myself to read about boring peoples lives. I like all the friends i've got at the moment (although i'm fickle and this is likely to change).

Blasphemous I know but living in churches, ah, it's wonderful. The one I lived in briefly was wonderful, but we lived on the top floor and no lift (or Stannah stairlift) we could have done with something, as 5 flights of stairs on a spiral staircase. Takes it out of you.

But yes the church itself was ace, big windows, lots of high ceilings etc. Lucky git.

Hummmmm. We are also top-floor-no-lift, and i agree it's hard - but it's also amazing being the highest person in the building (and in the surrounding area). Watching the sunset over the city from a church tower last night was awesome; we have a clear view all the way to Centrepoint and the BT Tower on one side and Gherkin / Lloyds building on the other side (from Bethnal Green), i love it.

When are you doing your move thing?

Can i come to church?

I mean, i'm forever away until things-sort-themselves-out and all that shizzle but when i'm back in London, uh-huh, yeah?

Yeah come around - we're considering a housewarming at some point, but we're worried the flat's too small - give us a bell when you're free though.
