well, yep. i'm going mostly friends-only. i'm slowly converting essentially all of my past entries to livejournal friends-only now. i'll still make updates that are general & whatnot for my family and non-livejournal using friends to read; but i don't know. i'm becoming more and more paranoid about what people can access about me, & that's my reasoning. and stuff.

join our the birthday massacre deviantart club. aslan_tbm thinks you should too, isn't that enough?? :P
really, if we can get some more activity going on there, more people will see the club, and more people will hear about TBM. it's a really huge community, you know? so it's a very effective way to promote, and. . . yes. JOIN IT.
my internet still isn't working in my dorm room. then i have a couple things to upload to the club, and then i can finally . . . i dunno. catch up on the tbm and cocteau twins forums like the geek i am :P

awildfandango's been harrassing me terribly to update my sketchlog but i haven't really felt up to it in forever, so here are three tiny things for you to sate yourself with. god that sounded pretentious. and when i say "terribly" i actually mean "very sweetly and nicely", because she isn't capable of being terrible!

i am listening to the new order bbc sessions and i've decided that new order probably makes me happier than anything else. i've loved them since forever but really, they make me ridiculously happy.
and jojo will be here in exactly one week!

she's the last one from vacation, and really the only decent thing i've drawn in quite awhile (and she's not even that great.) very much a callback to the way i used to draw. she is cute.

it's coming along. i like the shading best. i'm endeavoring to make the background more interesting, but because i've switched it from PC to Macintosh, from home to school so many times the layers have gotten compressed and lost and it's hard to do my ideas i have for the background without chopping up the image a lot. but, it is coming along. still no nose, but evalyn sure made her one, heeheehee, it was so cute, thanks Evelyn 
i'll make a post about stuff when i finish writing this essay a bit more, i think.

look, i made some new userpics for myself too.
  
i'm really fond of a smaller-than-100px size now. i'm strange, sometimes i like things as big as they can be, but when i feel mousey and small, things like pictures i draw or make to use are usually smaller.
i feel like i should write down every thought i have as i have it, every memory that i suddenly remember and every bit i have to say, but then i'd be writing forever.
the new Radiohead single "There, there." is so good, i still refuse to download the rest of the album, but the single is wonderful and makes me see a lot of pictures in my head. if a piece of music can do that to me, then it's really, really quite good.

this is a bjork painting i did over the last two days at school. i really like how it turned out, except it didn't take much talent to do. i just took a photo of bjork i liked a lot, made a new layer over it, drew over the picture, deleted the picture-layer, coloured and refined and changed things about it, and touched it up. and now i present it to you.
i'm really far too mean to livejournal-cut it, but if any of you find it that obnoxious on your friends pages, please don't hesitate to tell me and i'll lj-cut it straightaway. it shouldn't stretch out your pages, i don't think.
