does anybody know http://www.alibaba.com/? heard of it? I'm thinking about buying a camera there, but I never bought through this site and I don't know how secure it is to buy there. I usually buy through ebay, and I'm used to pay with paypal. in alibaba, we have to transfere the money through the bank.
Has anybody bought there? what do you suggest?
Thanks! |

So I'm back home, after travelling for 7 months in Central and South America. I've been to Mexico, Guatemalla, Brasil, Chile, Argentina and a bit of Bolivia. I wish I could explain what I've been through, but not words and even not pictures can describe.. I'll start uploading pictures I took in the trip soon.
I have a question guys, does anybody know how selling on ebay works? I mean, for a foreign member, without a US bank account. and what about taxes to ebay. and how it works with paypal..
I'd appreciate some help. :) |

| Continuing my trip.. Brasil |
[Oct. 9th, 2007|02:42 pm] |
So.. a lot has been happening since last update. Chen got back to Israel today, after 2 months and a half we've been traveling together. It's hard, but I hope we will pass it.
Amit, a friend of mine is getting to Buenos Aires at the end of November, and we are planning to travel together. So I didn't decide yet if I will stay in Sao Paulo, Brasil with my family and make a lot of sports, swim, play basketball and run a lot, or if I will now continue traveling alone in north of Argentina. What do you guys suggest?
I should be back to Israel in February, but I can go back later.
p.s TONS of new pictures in my site, you better look because there are some amazing places there.

| Guatemala |

Guatemala is totally amazing. I love it! We moved from Mexico to Guatemala about 2 weeks ago, couple days before Dean hurricane hit Mexico (exactly where we're been.. Isla Mujeres, Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, Cancun..). we're ok, don't worry.
I barely update because when I'm in the net, I check my emails and upload photos. so check out my gallery from time to time and get updated.

it's seperated by countries, and in each country you can see the cities listed. each city has its own photos, so don't miss any! :) in Antigua, there's another subfolder for a small movie clip I made in the Pacaya, a Volcano we've climbed on. The video is me touching a lava with a stick. it's amazing.. if you get into the movie, give it about 10 minutes to load because it's a 50mb file.
have fun, and keep updated! and write me!! |

| 10 days and I'm outta here |
[Jul. 18th, 2007|11:04 am] |
So, in 10 days Chen and I are going to NYC for 2 days. We'll stay at my uncle's house, Nir. he's my age. :) From there we continue to Mexico and Guatemalla. We have a flight from Mexico to Argentina in September 8th. From Argentina we go directly to Brasil, where my family lives. We'll stay there for a month, and then Chen comes back to Israel because she starts studying in UNI this year. From beginning of October, unfortunately I continue without Chen, and a friend of mine will join me with a friend. We'll go to Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Pategonia.. I can't wait!! I have a flight back to February 11th, but who knows. I might come back before Feb 11th, or later.
Anyways, I'm in the last arrangements for the trip of half a year. I'm debating as to what mp3 player to take with me. I have an IPod Video 30GB, but I'm not gonna take it with me. it's too expensive to be taken to a trip. and it's pretty big. I seached in the net for a mp3 to take, but I read a lot of bad criticism on players which look good.
What do you suggest? Do you have a mp3 player that you know works good? doesn't finish the battery too fast? I need one of about 1GB or 2GB, and I need it to work on AA batteries (or AAA), and to be small and friendly. And of course, cheap. :) about 200-300 NIS (45$-70$).
Thanks buddies. |
