I'm so worried about this Sign Language class. I feel so behind. I'm trying to review, but I feel like I'm getting nowhere. She keeps using signs that I never even saw let alone learned.
One funny thing about yesterday's class. I'm standing outside the room for ASL and this guy leans against the wall next to me and asks if this is the ASL class. I of course say yeah, and he asks if he missed anything. We talk, he mentions that he took years of ASL in HS. Then, he holds out his hand and says, "I'm Chris." Even as I
shook his hand I was thinking, "This seems sweet, but what 18-20 year old shakes someone's hand?" Lol. We sat next to each other class and we were bitching and bullshitting about parking at school and I warned him about the worst days (I believe he's a freshman; I don't know how old he is).
It was nice to have someone to bs with before class especially the class that I'm completely utterly worried about (if we keep talking tomorrow, I might have to beg him to tutor me, lol).
I also ran into David (... I think) the guy who helped me jump my car last semester. It was awkward. He asked me how I did in Grammar, and I told him I did great. Then he told me that he had to drop the class, he was failing so badly.
... yeah. We pretty much bsed for a couple seconds and then went our separate ways. Lol.
Biology seems like it's going to be a boring class in both lecture and lab. Our lab teacher is... he seems like a good teacher, but kind of stupid in a 'how to interact with students' kind of way. He kept asking us questions and then when no one knew, he'd be like, "We'll be here all day if I keep doing this." and then he'd do it again with the next question. Sorry, dude, I haven't learned this yet.
History is going to be boring as all. My regular teacher isn't even there. It's a substitute and he kept saying, "We'll be doing this my way for as long as I'm here." Meanwhile I want to know why the fuck he doesn't know how long he's going to be here. Either get us our regular teacher, or just teach the class your way. Don't do both, that's fucking stupid.
English... I don't know yet. It seems interesting, but kind of boring at the same time.
Eh, whatever. I do LOVE having Nicole at the same school even if we don't cross paths often. We went to the bookstore yesterday, and we have a plan for Thursdays if she needs a parking spot cause I'm leaving at the same time that she's coming into school. Lol. I love her.
That's it!
