There are three Finns in the javelin final (eee, it just started) so if we don't get at least one medal, it'll be a
huge disappointment to say the least. My prediction: Tero Pitkämäki wins gold, Tero Järvenpää silver and Andreas Thorkildsen (NOR) bronze. Scandinavia ftw. ;D

In honor of Pitkämäki's gold medal, here's a ( mini picspam. )ETA: Daaaaaamn. Thorkildsen totally threw 87,93. Pitkämäki has technical problems. Booo. But the Finns are currently 2nd, 3rd and 4th. So, yay.
ETA: WTFFFFF. Järvenpää threw a loooong throw... but stepped over the line. GAH. Thorkildsen threw a new Olympic record, 90,57. :O Looks like Norway is going to win the gold.
ETA: No medal for Järvenpää FUCK.
ETA: OK, Pitkämäki was the best Finn and he came in 3RD. --- FOR THE SUCK.
FINAL RESULTS (top5):Andreas Thorkildsen (NOR) 90,57
Ainars Kovals (LAT) 86,64
Tero Pitkämäki (FIN) 86,16
Tero Järvenpää (FIN) 83,95
Teemu Wirkkala (FIN) 83,46
I knew my over-optimism would come and bite me in the ass...
