now if you'll excuse me i need to get drunk while watching men's diving wet men in tiny speedos. ... men's diving is totally my favourite olympic sport ever.

There are three Finns in the javelin final (eee, it just started) so if we don't get at least one medal, it'll be a huge disappointment to say the least. My prediction: Tero Pitkämäki wins gold, Tero Järvenpää silver and Andreas Thorkildsen (NOR) bronze. Scandinavia ftw. ;D

ETA: Daaaaaamn. Thorkildsen totally threw 87,93. Pitkämäki has technical problems. Booo. But the Finns are currently 2nd, 3rd and 4th. So, yay.

ETA: WTFFFFF. Järvenpää threw a loooong throw... but stepped over the line. GAH. Thorkildsen threw a new Olympic record, 90,57. :O Looks like Norway is going to win the gold.

ETA: No medal for Järvenpää FUCK.

ETA: OK, Pitkämäki was the best Finn and he came in 3RD. --- FOR THE SUCK.
