I forgot to mention... we looked at example storyboards in class today that former students had done.
One of them, the one that got passed around the class, was one done by a certain Mr. Ian McConville. No mention was made of Mac Hall, but I'd recognize that name and signature anywhere. I HELD that storyboard. His style was also definitely his from around then, even though it was of a spider, a glue bottle, and a crayon box. XD Dude graduated the year before I got to BG.
Yes, I know it's a webcomic. And the dude would probably get freaked out knowing that I fanboy over his name and not even really his comic at all, but still... I remember Aussie Tim dying to get his autograph at Otakon back in 2004 or something like that. And that guy went to my school! He's a man with fans! lol I view him as a success regardless of what he actually does for a living. He successfully entertains people with what he does. I hope I can say as much for me after I get out of here.
I wonder how he's doing these days... Maybe I should start checking out Three Panel Soul. >>

I just introduced myself to "Dress" by Buck-Tick. I... I need to listen to more of their music. Dress is absolutely gorgeous. It was suggested to the G.A.M.E. and I would amazed if I could get to sing it. I may even be willing to give up Asterisk for it. >> It must be really freaking popular for a J-pop song, too... over 10 years after its initial release it was used as an OP for Trinity Blood. AND T.M. Revolution (kinda... it was actually while he was with the band Abingdon Boys School [a recent project.. turned out some cool music, too.]) even covered it.

Was crazy. And now I must do homework @_@ ARGH. So this entry will be short.
Going back to my old church was pretty cool. People were all happy to see me and stuff. That place really feels like home. I also realized that it awkward sitting with my mom. After I hit Junior High, I sat with everyone else in the youth group and my family sitting together just... ceased. As my brother (now 21 - like a true Scrubs fan he had an Appletini. XD) hit youth, he sat with us, too. Same with my sister.
At any rate, I came in second in poker today. XD 15 bucks! w00t! Better than coming in last on my own birthday. lol
Ummmm... One class tomorrow. Which is cool. Still a ton of work to do. Going home is NOT conducive to getting a lot of work done, if not only for the travel time and actual events going on. Way to be born this weekend of all weekends, Gub. >>
IN 72 HOURS I SHOULD BE AT NOBI'S!!!! <3 Or at least really close. XD; I plan on doing all my packing Tuesday so I can just take off Wednesday after class as soon as I can. I'm so anxious to get there!!! Fall Break ftw. I may be taking my computer for working on stuff Friday. I'll see where I'm at when the time comes.

It's now october which means Kouki's bday soon - 21st so I have this week as a deadline to finish and send the fanart and gifts I got him.
Here's how it's going
That scarf was a pain in the ass OMFG DX it's probably not even like it but there's no defined ref of what it actually looks like. The jacket detail was a hassle more because of the amount of layers used. BUT the worst was definitely to come ;A;
djcfdjbdfjbvhd that coat I have been dreading! And with good reason it's a whore DX, not only did I draw the collar wrong but I keep finding out new stuff about it that makes it worse D:
For example the sleeves seem to be a whole new material. It also has studs aplenty and big gold buttons too which will be added at the end along with his wtf at least about 4 different necklaces around his neck as well as 3 or so belts and a lot of chains. Definitely his most extreme costume to date. It looks hot as hell but it is so not fanart friendly. Urgh I hope he acknowledges all my love, dedication and hard work ;A;
Also note leather texture is yet to be added. Gotta get the shading and lighting done first. The lighting is pretty harsh it's 1 shiny jacket XD.

Kirby Superstar Ultra is an amazing nostalgia trip, man. It actually... felt a little easy because I played the crap out of the original Kirby Superstar, and while I appreciated the little updates-the new design for the final boss of the Great Cave Offensive, which I now know is totally Proto-Master Hand, and all the shiny new backgrounds-it still wasn't as hard as I remembered it. When I was a kid, I dreaded playing through Revenge of the Metaknight despite how amazingly epic it is because I had so much trouble with it. Now, I managed to get through it in like. Less than a half an hour.
Of course, all of this is kind of moot because Revenge of Dedede? My God, Sakurai! Please put Spring Breeze back on its Prozac before I get nightmares and for the love of God don't make me fight that blimp from Kirby's Dream Land! I-I don't know if I could take it!

I still don't have anything to say; I was kind of glancing back at last year's entries again today, and you know, the fascinating thing about keeping journals is comparing your feelings right now to how you felt then, and... well, when they keep ending up similar, that's how you can generally draw the conclusion that it's more than likely just a seasonal thing, right?
I feel bad, so I'm apologizing for my disappearance lately, but it's likely to continue just a bit longer. I just feel pretty detached from a lot of things, and in the end, the only thing I can really do is wait it out.

I'm irritated to an interesting degree over the fact that Force Unleashed won't be released on the PC. "It definitely will not be coming to PC," were LucasArts' exact words, I think. Gumble mumble harumph.

Six week program thing took me just about 2 months! lol But hey, some people just improve slower than others. Man... That was on my third set in the last 45 minutes or so too. I did 50, then 60, then just went for it and got it. XD My legs were shaking REALLY bad when I got to 90. Didn't think I was going to make it there for a second. My form may have faltered a little bit, but I also had mirrors off to each side to check that I was at least doing something CLOSE to proper form the whole time.
But yeah, I figured this was a good program to do since I didn't really have much equipment OR space in my basement (and I didn't actually inflate my exercise ball until I came to school for use as a computer chair. XD)
There you have it: my milestone from Wednesday. At the end of the night when I went for my one-set max then I did like, 65, and only stopped because it was well above the minimum for the night. Now I just hope to be able to complete the hundred every other day or so to maintain this. Should be easy enough... If I've done it once I can do it again, right? XD
