A little Epiphany post-ep, where John has massive cognitive dissonance and everybody's a Bit Awkward, except for Rodney, who's good with weird. I somehow like this John way, way better than the one on-screen, and he has an awful lot going on for a 2000 word story. | comments: Leave a comment |

A little elegy to Charlie Brown and co., written in 2000, on the occasion of the last Peanuts cartoon strip. I was sixteen in 2000, which means I should've been old enough not to be shamelessly emotionally manipulated by this sort of thing, but it worked then and it still worked when I stumbled upon the story this afternoon, so go figure.
There are probably other Peanuts fics on the Internet, but chances are excellent I don't want to know about them. | comments: Leave a comment |

A short little bit about Mitchell sleeping his way through SG-1, or at least Sam and Daniel. Title and description aside, not remotely angsty or depressing. | comments: Leave a comment |

The second of five ways in which Rodney McKay and Sam Carter did not make out. For reference, this one involves a threesome and a small mountain of Italian food. Pretty awesome, right there. | comments: Leave a comment |

Really, kind of everything you could want in a SG-fic. The plot is smart and quick and interesting, the characters are dead-on and often incredibly funny, and you get SG-1--well, look, I'm not spoiling that part, just go read it. | comments: Leave a comment |

Pullo and Vorenus after Kalends of February. This exactly nails so many things for me:
Pullo wondered how many hours he'd spent studying the light playing in those eyes over the years, if you added all the fleeting moments together. Sunsets and torchlight and watery cloudlight, thoughtlight. Always obliquely, though, because Vorenus was usually looking ahead and Pullo was looking at Vorenus, waiting for the decision to be made. Now was different. | comments: Leave a comment |

Properly, a Doctor Who/Farscape crossover. John and Nine get drunk and talk about their spectacularly messed-up lives. Really, there is no wrong here. | comments: Leave a comment |

Uh, wow.
Remus after Halfblood Prince, getting used to the idea of being with Tonks. It's pretty awesome. | comments: Leave a comment |

After Nightwing 112, Dick's in trouble, but he's got a new family if he wants one. Okay, so it's Slade Wilson's family, but else could rival the Gotham crowd for complicated fucked-upness? | comments: Leave a comment |

Life aboard the smallest ship in what's left of the fleet. Original characters, with a cameo from Lee Adama. I like these people so much. | comments: Leave a comment |

I swear, I don't *only* read painfully adorable SGA slash AUs. But there are good ones. Like this one. Weird math and The Spawn of McKay (not in an mpreg sense). | comments: Leave a comment |

This is the kind of OT3 that's like a mug of hot chocolate, and it's all to the good, since the characters could probably use it. AU, starting a few days after Endgame. | comments: Leave a comment |

Daniel makes Sha're a wedding present, which, it's Daniel, so you can imagine how well that goes. tafkarfanfic recced this earlier today, and I'm glad she did because I'd totally forgotten about it. Which just goes to show that I'm a doofus, because I am madly in love with this pairing, and this is one of the better stories about them. Sha're has a personality, and Daniel is a guy, and they're incredibly hot for each other, and it's really just awesome all over. | comments: Leave a comment |

Teal'c's last day at the SGC, set during Origin. It's not a perfect story--some of the narration's clunky, and Teal'c's voice is a little awkward. But she makes the characters awfully likeable, and I would kill to hear the conversation at the end. | comments: Leave a comment |

The team (do they even have a designation? SA-1 or something?) finds a quantum mirror offworld, at which point their Most Catastrophic Luck in the Universe thing kicks in. Ltlj's got an incredibly good sense of humor, as always, and she mixes it with an interesting plot and terrific characterization. | comments: Leave a comment |

It occurs to me that I might be the only person in the universe who doesn't have sga_flashfic friended, and so possibly everyone else has seen this already. Anyway, just in case--this is a quick, funny team fic with some great lines, and poor John having an unbelievably bad day. This is very enjoyable way to spend a lunch break. | comments: Leave a comment |
