This week’s theme: Darkwave/Industrial Prt. II
I’m a bit lazy, so I’m gonna repeat last week’s theme, because I love this kind of music.
Remember, comments make the world go ‘round. And next rotation will be for requests, so go look at my play list and see what you might like.
Celebration is now affiliated with medical_lolita The music there is pure love, so go visit!
E-typ- BLUETORCHE I know nothing about them expect that Dada was the vocalist before he joined Velvet Eden. Very good song, so I’d suggest downloading it.
Kozi- Catharsis I felt bad for ignoring him last week, but I always upload his work. I’m very glad that he’s finally getting a new album out in time for my birthday. As for the song, I think it’s impressive that such a short song has such a powerful feeling behind it.
Velvet Eden- Confession PV A nice instrumental song from their VHS. This is one of my favorite PVs, since it’s so creepy. (Heads fading in and out) The cinematography’s really nice, since they gave it a home-video kind of feel.
Rudolf Steiner- Kusatta Kajitsu (demo) Schwarz Stein before they were Schwarz Stein! This song is basically Fester Love with different lyrics, and Kaya‘s voice sounds a bit harsher. Or maybe it’s the other way around because Fester Love actually came out after… ^^;
The ZOLGE- Saintly Evil Boy This was Haruhiko Ash’s band (from the 80s?) before he started Eve of Destiny. It’s pretty good, and it has the old-school feel to it.
Pride of Mind- Out of the Air I have their Systems of Romance album but I haven’t taken the time to actually listen to it yet. So I’m putting up the only song I’ve heard by them. Personally, I think it’s a bit weird (and not in a good way) but you download and form your own opinion.
Seth et Holth OST This is the soundtrack to the short movie made by hide and TUSK from ZI:KILL. Since the movie has no real dialogue, it’s all about the sounds and visuals. The soundtrack has a very industrial feel to it, and actually reminds me a lot of BLAM HONEY expect.. sadder.
Tracklist: 1. Eyes 2. Descent to Earth 3. Crosses Everywhere 4. The Church 5. Running ~ Persecution 6. Sacrifice ~ Death 7. Ending Theme ~ Music Box Download album
Request:
Kuroyume- Beauty & Stupid (hide cover) It’s for…someone. Sorry, I forgot who. ^^;

This week’s theme: Darkwave/ Industrial music.
Even though hide is my favorite musician of all time, dark wave bands are actually my favorite genre.
Thank you to everyone who commented on the last update. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. -hands out cookies- So keep it up and leave a comment~!
Eve of Destiny- Garden for a Zealot I love Eve of Destiny, but I hope they release something new soon.
Soft Ballet- TANGO IN EDEN Soft Ballet is techno pop/dark wave band that has been around since the late 80’s. Dada has mentioned that they were one of his influences in Velvet Eden, and so if you like VE, I definitely suggest trying them.
Soft Ballet- Texture I’m in love with this band, but it‘s nearly impossible to find their stuff, even online. So to celebrate my finding a store that had lots of their albums, here’s another song. It’s easy to see how they influenced VE.
Schwarz Stein- Current I wonder what Kaya’s been doing musically lately. Since Hora’s new album is coming out soon (I think) at least we all get to hear him sing again.
Endorphine- Desire (EP Edit) They’re a bit more on the rock side of dark wave bands. The vocalist reminds me of Satsuki, but I’m not too sure about that.
Schwein- Crown Schwein is another well-kept dark wave secret. This song sums them up very well. They also throw in very fluent English and German throughout the entire Schweinstein album, which I think adds a nice touch.
Schwein- Slip This song is a bit slower, and more sensual. From the same album as the one above, and it’s one of my favorites.
Velvet Eden- SAAKASU Byou Like the title suggests, it has a circus feel to it. I love how Dada’s voice floats up and down to go with the whole “carnival” tone of the song.
Pride of Mind- I Want Your All (Deep Red Mix) Klaha might have been PoM’s official vocalist, but Dada did a demo with the band when they were first starting out. I’ve only heard one of Klaha’s songs for the band, and I didn’t like it. However, I did like this song with Dada, so it’s going up.
X- Desperate Angel A request for lyrandis

This week’s theme: Emo~ songs.
I’d been kind lazy with updates for the past few weeks. But now that I’m finished with my work, I decided to put more heart back into the site. So this week, I’m uploading all the songs that make me feel emotional, and that have some special meaning to me. I hope everyone likes them.
In other news, I’ve noticed that comments have dropped. I wouldn’t mind if it’s because people aren’t taking the songs, but it’s just rude it you are. I have no problem making this a private community, but I rather not do that. So remember to comment if you take something.
X[JAPAN]- Voiceless Screaming I only recently found this song. I usually don’t listen to ballads, but the first time I heard this song, I got teary eyed. It’s beautiful, and Toshi’s voice sounds amazing in this.
hide- Flame (PSYENCE-FACTION version) From the KING OF PSYBORG ROCK STAR album. I love every single second of this song. Usually I think FLAME is too sad to listen to very often, but every time I put on the album, I can never finish it because I end up listening to this song over and over. ^^; It always leave me smiling.
Hora- Modulate God There are two versions to this song. I prefer this one from his Inner Universe album. It’s hard to explain why I love this song. I’ve always thought of it of Hora’s theme song. (He refers to himself as a “self proclaimed god”) And it’s about change, so at this point in life, I can relate to it.
Malice Mizer- Au Revoir PV The first time I heard the song, I hated it. But the more I listen to it, the more I like it. Now I find myself singing it at random times. ^^; The lyrics are beautiful, and I think the PV captured its idea very well.
Kagrra,- Meguru This is one of my favorite Kagrra, songs. Everything about this song is soft and beautiful, from the vocals to the rhythm. I love the chorus, especially as it echoes off at the end. It gives the song a wonderful haunting feel. Another song that I often find myself singing.
Mika Nakashima- Legend I haven’t listened to her music in a while~ I wish I had the PV for this song, because it’s so pretty. But I don’t, so I have to settle for uploading the song and trying to remember the video from memory. ^^; I don’t know what the song is about, but, as usual, her vocals are amazing.
YOSHIKI- Seize the Light (classical version) From Yoshiki, my all-time-hero~ This song sounds a lot like Amethyst, which might be why I love it so much. Like Amethyst, and like the title suggests, it’s about seizing the opportunities in front of you.
Miyavi- Ashita, Genki ni Naare PV The PERFECT spring song! But it’s been cold here (it’s even snowed) lately >_>; Even though I don’t like Miyavi as much as I used to, I still have a special attachment for this song and video. It’s perfect to listen to while walking outside in the sunshine. And it always makes me want to run around in the park with a giant flag or a pin wheel. <3

Velvet Eden: Girlfriend |
] |
This week’s theme: pr0n! Yes, every song I’m putting up is about the naughty-naughty. xD; Leave a comment if you take something!
Malice Mizer- ILLUMINATI PV Um…how can this not go up? Whips and chains and PVC, oh my!
Gackt- Speed Master Gackt has too many songs about sex. >_>;
hide- Squeeze IT!!! Is that a proposition, hide?
Schwarz Stein- New Vogue Children Come to me, my unborn children of sodomy. Why is it that only Kaya can get away with saying that? ^^;
L’Arc~en~Ciel- Lover Boy This is one of the few L’Arc songs I still like. Hyde’s Engrish makes this song even better, because it sounds like he’s saying “looking for the bed” instead of “looking for your blood”
hide- Fuctract #6 This song is so…blatant XD
Dir en Grey- Zomboid This was one of my first DEG songs, and it has a special place in my heart. With the usual twisted lyrics, courtesy of Kyo, the song is even grosser once you understand why there's sucking noises at the end...XD
X- Desperate Angel Sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll~!
Miyavi- Night in Girl If Miyavi was a skanky girl, this would be his theme song.
Schwarz Stein- Addictive Epicurean In a sense, this fits the theme, but not really. However, I uploaded it by accident, so I’m adding it on.

This week’s theme: Non-visual.
Okay folks, something different:
Hello, I am guest DJ. I am from burning_haven Nice to meet you. Let's become friends!
Since avail has life-angst today, plus a big essay to write, etc., I am taking her place.~ I'm gonna upload all my favorites / non-visual j-rock for you to all enjoy. Hopefully you will meet new things and learn to love rock 'n' roll like never before!
MONO - Yearning This is one of the best songs I've heard (as in, in life). It's... really powerful. The way it flows...! It stirs deep emotion, the title describes it perfectly. MONO is four-piece band consisting of Takaakira "Taka" Goto (g.) Tamaki (B.) Yasunori Takada (D.) and Yoda (G.) I only have heard a few songs of theirs, but they're very good! Please check them out!
2 Bullet - Drain People's Blood
2Bullet - Democracy People's.... 2Bullet is a "military tactical industrial band from Japan." They play a strong industrial/electronica style of music, and have already worked overseas, exchanging remixes with other electronica artists. Their myspace is here, and their CD, "Democratic Violence" is already sold here in the wreckords.com online store. If you like music like Velvet Eden and Schwarz Stein, I definetely suggest checking them out! (Their cd is awesome!)
GO!GO!7188- Koi No Dorei (Hooked on Love)
GO!GO!7188-Ame noti ame noti ame Well, GO!GO!7188 isn't particularly unknown, and they're even signed to a major record label, however, I figured that Celebration should have some girl rock, for a change. XD; They're inspired by rock gods Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, so you know they're good.
Bang-Doll - Delaz(real player format)
Bang-Doll - How To Use Love (e-style) After hearing about Bang-Doll from a Rushed Blue live report, I had to get their cd, Kuu. And it was worth it!!! Bang-Doll is an awesome indies band that started a style called "trend-kill". Not only are they non-visual, "trend-kill" is infact *anti* modern visual culture. The guitar work reminds me of X-Japan, and they are a serious hair band, full of "houseplant" hair. They're awesome!
Peelander-Z - S.T.E.A.K.
Peelander-Z - Dragon As close as you can get to my gods without talking about X-Japan, Peelander-Z is a Ja-punk based based out of my home-slice NYC!! They're very good, and live shows are amazing! My hero~! Peelander Yellow (g./v.), Peelander Red (b.), and Peelander Blue (dr.) make up the band of my dreams. Please check them out and support them, as they tour around US/east coast often! Gelatine - Theme of Gelatine
Gelatine - Let's Go Home Gelatine is another NYC-based J-rock band, "hard jap -core". I really like them, and they're very good! Five piece consisting of Urabe Seiko (v.), Yamamoto Balan (b.), Waiko Yotaka (kb.), Jun Takeshita (g.), And good man Al "Albatros" Alan (dr.) (also plays in The Spunks).
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Satanic Boom-Boom Head
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Hotel Bronco I couldn't upload Roedeo Tandem Beat Specter, so here's some Gear Blues tracks, instead. Thee Michelle Gun Elephant are the other, other rock gods. Far east rockin' blues!
Other bands/places to check out:
Rock in China I didn't upload an Chinese rock, but the underground scene there... It has lots of good stuff!!
TOKYO no RADIO - Every band here I would have mentioned if I could. Good stuff!!!!!!
KAIJU BIG BATTEL When one talks about ja-punk, or underground japanese rocks (non-visual), hard not to mention as well kaiju!!! DANGER CAN HAPPEN!
For sampling purposes only. I apologize for all the .ra (real player) format files. I'd burn the cds for you if I could.
-Kim
PS: For everyone else, ( Saver Tiger! )

Schwarz Stein: Beautiful the Virgin |
] |
This week’s theme: Mana!
In honor of his birthday tommorow, all these uploads are related to him. お誕生日おめでと Mana!
I finally fixed up the layout, with a very celebration-y hide theme. It’s not the best, but I like it. ^^
Comment or Die!
Kozi- Grottesca Because they work so well together, and since they seem like such good friends, I’m putting up one of my favorite Kozi songs. I LOVE IT.
Malice Mizer- Freeze Me (live) I think Tetsu needs more love as MM’s vocalist. This is from a concert they performed at Shinjuku Antinoku. Another bad quality song, but it’s still worth listening to.
Moi Dix Mois- Pessimiste This was my first M10M song, but it’s grown on me. Personally, I don’t like M10M (too repetitive) so I’m just putting up one of their songs.
Schwarz Stein- Beautiful the Virgin And now for Mana’s production baby. ^^; This song is a bit heavier than their usual stuff, but not much. Think along the lines of Fester Love. I really like it though.
Malice Mizer- S-Conscious Sometimes, I like Mana’s synthesizer/harpsichord work better than his guitar playing…
Malice Mizer- Brise LIVE I think Brise is one of the most complex songs MM ever performed. The music is extremely upbeat, but the lyrics are sad, romantic, and a bit insane. However, I love how they goofed around on stage. Especially when Mana goes by on a motor scooter. VROOM! ^^
And a bonus. Mana’s first high school band was called Girl’e. And so here’s one of their demos. They’re pretty good, in the 80s punk way. I apologize for the bad quality, but it can’t be helped.
Girl’e Demo: 1. One Game 2. Sexy Lewd
And a small clip of him performing the solo from Sexy Lewd. Mana in Girl’e

This week’s theme: Since I had a good week, I decided to put up some cutsie fun songs.
Comments? Opinions? Requests for the next update? My now improved play list is here.
Miyavi- Kekkonshiki no Uta I’d play this at my wedding, just because it’s so happy. I love when Miyavi says “happy wedding” at the beginning.
hide- In Motion PV -bounces up and down- Chibi hide! Chibi hide!
L’Arc~en~Ciel- Stay Away PV Probably my favorite L’Arc song. It’s such a catchy song, and the dance on the tennis court at the end makes me laugh.
Kozi- Crimson Star Every time I hear this, I can’t help but sing along with it. It’s different from Kozi’s usual music, since it’s more upbeat.
Shazna- Raspberry Time They’re so cute I want to hug Izam to death. My recommended download this rotation. Shazna seriously needs more love in jrock-world.
Miyavi- Komoriuta Ken no Love Song This song is catchy, and it reminds me of being on a raft, playing a banjo.
Gackt- Marmalade This song is so…cute! (what else?) It’s hard to believe it’s Gackt singing that.
Dir en Grey- Umbrella Who says a song about eating babies can’t be bouncy and fun?
Miyavi- Ashita, Genki ni Naare PV Lots of Miyavi, but his music is happy, I cant’ help it. ^^; The weather is finally turning warm, and this is the best song to celebrate it. I feel in love with Miyavi after hearing this song, and I love this PV too. I always feel like going to the park and sitting in the grass to play with a baby piano every time I see this. Plus it’s an amazing song to listen to while taking a walk in the sunshine.
Shazna- Melty Love I uploaded this for a friend, and I can’t help myself from putting it up. It’s so addictive, and cute, and fluffy and makes me think of sparkly things floating in the sky. I love Shazna~

This week’s theme: Colors. -sparkle sparkle- ^^;
Oh dear, I went crazy with this, 15 songs! So leave a comment, because this took a very long while~
SID- Ao This is the perfect color to describe this song. (Blue) It’s cool and mellow.
Gackt & HYDE- Orenji no Taiyou Who remembers Moonchild? I do!
Gackt- BLACK STONE I didn’t like this song as much as Ash, but it has a color, so….
Gackt- White Eyes Yes, more Gackt >_>; But this song is AMAZING. It was my first Gackt song, and the first jrock song I ever downloaded. (Oh, the memories) It’s from the beginning of his solo career, so it has more musical depth, and is much darker than his current work. And his voice is better, too.
Wang Leehom- China White Words cannot describe how funny/cheesy/wannabe this song is. It’s in English, and a must download. Otherwise, I’ll send Wang over to beat you and he won’t stop until the fat lady sings.
Dir en Grey- Red…[em] I love seeing them play this song live. And, if I’m lucky, they’ll play it at their NY concert. ^___^
hide- Pink Spider PV (EDIT: The link's fixed!) You can never have enough hide, or enough of this song.
hide- Pink Cloud Assembly Words can’t describe how much I love this song. I heard it before Pink Spider, which kinda ruins the mood. But a friend of mine summed it up perfectly, she said it sounds like something’s falling, and that’s exactly the impression the music is trying to create.
hide- Blue Sky Complex Eh..this is one of the few hide songs I don’t really appreciate. It’s swing, but very strange swing.
X- Blue Blood The drumming in this song is amazing.
Nightmare- Cyan (Shian) I’d forgotten how pretty this song is. It’s quieter, and Yomi’s voice is softer than normal. -melts-
Malice Mizer- Color Me Blood Red My first MM song! (with vocals) So I have a special love for this song.
Dir en Grey- AMBER This is my favorite slower DEG song. ♥
YOSHIKI- Amethyst Words can’t describe how much I love this classical piece.
Merry- Kanashimi Blue Train Something slow and pretty. It’ s a good song to fall asleep to.

This week’s theme: Random + Utaban
Sorry it took so long to update, but stuff happens. e_e Remember to comment!
Velvet Eden- Dance with Skeleton This sounds a bit more exotic than their other stuff. It’s the song that made me first get really interested in them.
Kagrra,- Meguru Kaggra, has been disappointing me lately. They’ve become more and more rock. There are very few songs that still have their old Japanese influence like this one.
Rentrer en Soi- Anima Mundi So the title's decided. But I still don't care much for this song...
Deathgaze- LOVE SONG This song reminds me a lot of Malice Mizer’s Gogo no Sasayaki. >_>; Very soft (for them at least) and pretty.
Moi Dix Mois- Detresse As much as I love Mana, I don’t care much for M10M. Other than Front et Baiser, this is one of my favs.
Wang Leehom- Zai Mei Bian *deep breath* OkaythissongiscrazyespeciallytheendbecausehejustramblesonforalongtimeandIhavenoideawhatitmeansbecauseitallsoundslikechinesegibberishbutthesongisstillfuntolistento. XD
Utaban episodes: They’re small files, so why not?
Utaban- Butabara One of Gackt’s lesser known Utaban jokes. He’s so silly.
Utaban- Fight for Curry Okay, so Gackt cooks naked. But you have to fight for your life just to get to the food. I think I’ll pass. >_>;
Utaban- HYDE meets Megumi Everyone say it with me: Awwww… ♥ I can’t believe that’s how they met.
Utaban- Crotch Spreader Revenge This one is supposed to take place after the whole Magnum fiasco. Gackt has his mad aristocratic revenge on the hosts for making him talk about his magnum. I think this is one of the funniest ones.

This week’s theme: Anti-Japan
Yes, that’s right. There’s no jrock this time. *shock* If you don’t normally listen to Korean or Chinese stuff, this would be a good time to try it out. At least once. I don’t like it when people think Asian music just think it applies to Japan alone. So if you have a problem with it, go away.
I really want to know what people think of this rotation, so please comment.
The TRAX- PARADOX PV What other band would we start out with?
Wang LeeHom- Xing Zhuo -shakes head- He tries so hard to be ghetto and fails so badly it‘s funny. He gets points for trying though. ^^;
Se7en-CRAZY My recommended download. The Drama King does it again. XD Even my non-foreign music friends like this song.
The TRAX- Vampire One of my personal TRAX favorites.
Huang Yi Da- Set Me Free His voice is a bit unpolished, but this song is so romantic. Another must download.
Jay Chou- My Territory (Wo De Di Pan) A classical intro and then….XD I love Jay Chou.
DBSQ dance funny clip Self explanatory. Some of the boys do the moonwalk and other randomness.
Jay Chou- Blue Storm (leng Se Feng Bao) Monks chanting + numbers dialing = easy to make fun of.
DBSQ (feat Super Junior)- Show Me Your Love I wish I had more DBSQ, but to save time, here‘s two bands in one! Pretty good k-pop song with a total of 17 guys singing. o_o; And it finally taught me how DBSQ properly spell their name.

This week’s theme: Requests.
I couldn’t remember who requested what, so it’s all unorganized.
Nightmare- Dasei Boogie PV Well, someone asked me to put up my fav Nightmare song. But I already did, so here’s the PV. The random lady’s butt in the beginning surprised me the first time I saw it, because I had turned around. They all dress like swingers, and Yomi’s barefoot, as always.
To get rid of my indecision, here is Nightmare’s Believe Single: 1. Believe 2. 13th 3. muzzle, muzzle, muzzle Of all of them, I like muzzle, muzzle, muzzle best.
Nighmare- Raven loud speeeaker I love this song. <3
Kozi- Kaikou Pretty sure I never put this up. Gasp!- a girl sings instead of Kozi. XD
Kozi- MEMENTO -Moment Thee Dance Mix- Um, wasn’t MEMENTO made in memory of Kami? Even if it‘s not, this is still a great song.
Yoshiki & hide interview Yoshiki’s so cute! =^^=
hide- Light My Fire (The Doors cover) Haven’t heard the original, so I don’t have much of an opinion on this.

Schwarz Stein: Fester Love |

Just a small edit, and a annoucement:
Apparently the Schwarz Stein song that I uploaded was a fake. Some stupid person decided to ruin a perfectly good song by editting stuff together. >_< *coughassholecough* But thanks to xlolita_complex I now have the right version. It's actually not a remix, but it's still good.
Schwarz Stein- Syphillis and Disorder
And here's an extra song, just because I love hide: <3
hide- Sold Some Attitude - INA-DIE-Kaz Following the theme, this is a remix, from the BASTARD EYES album. I love this song. But as for this version, there's nothing particulary special about this. I just picked a random number from the playlist.
Okay, I know it might seem annoying, but I want someone to request something. Pretty please? Otherwaise they'll be no update next week. ^^; The playlist is at the community's userinfo. And like I said, I don’t have a list for my PV’s, but try requesting one anyway. I might have it.

This week’s theme: Remixes.
I almost forgot about rotating. ^^; But there are lots of songs to make up for it because I went crazy with the theme this time.
**I’m taking requests for the next rotation. So go the info section and find out where my playlist is, and leave a comment for what you want. I don’t have a list for my PV’s, but try requesting one anyway. I might have it.
EDIT: Taking the Schwarz Stein song off because it's a fake. Look at the entry above this one.
Eve of Destiny- I’ll Damage You (EOD Mix) This song confused me at first. It’s sung by an American band called Razed in Black, but EoD made a remix of it.
Dir en Grey- [KR]Cube -K.K Vomit Mix- I like this remix, especially the koto at the end. And of course, Kyo vomiting~ BLEH
Rentrer en Soi- Secret Strawberry Garden Putting up two ReS songs because they sound like remixes of each other. This one is softer than Rainy Blood.
Rentrer en Soi- Rainy Blood I think this one is the remix, but I’m not too sure. The lyrics are a bit different, but the chorus sounds the same, so it’s going up. The title bothers me. It seems like Engrish-galore, but oh well…..
hide- LEMONed I Scream (CHOCHO-CHIP ver) Yet another version of this song~ I like this one better than the PV one. Most people probably have it already.
hide- 50% & 50% (Cyrstal Lake Version) I almost regret putting up LEMONed after remembering about this song. It has fiddlin’ and birds chirping and adorable acoustic hide-ness! My dad likes it too >_>; *Does anyone know where this song came from? I can’t find it on any discography list and it’s driving me crazy!*
P’UNK~en~Ciel- Milky Way P’UNK~en~Ciel is L’Arc’s alter-ego band. I know HYDE plays guitar, and Tetsu does vocals. But that’s about it. This song is nice though.
Gackt- Mizerable (T Remix) This basically sounds nothing like the original. It’s pretty corny… >_>
Psycho Le Cemu- Roman Hikou (rock ver) This was my first PLC song, but I don’t really like them, so there’s not much to say.
X[JAPAN]- Not True Miscast X did Miscast and X[JAPAN] had to remake it. Miscast is one of my favorite X songs, so I really like this version too. The only real change is the chorus.

hide- Junk Story PV Watching this PV makes me cry, even though it’s my favorite hide song. Awesome solo part though.
Miyavi- ROCK’N’ROLL IS ‘NOT‘ DEAD Okay, my favorite part of this song is the four second guitar solo in the middle of the song. Short, but still wonderful. Miyavi had mad guitar skills, yo! XD
Dir en Grey- Berry I’m gonna blow your head like raspberry jam. Such a happy song. I really like the bass solo in the background, while the little girl gets yelled at…^^;
X[JAPAN]- POSE (live) I love POSE, since it’s another one of my favorite hide songs. Since there are so many version of this song, I’m putting up the one that hide performed from the Dahlia Tour.
Dir en Grey- engirys +) an injection I know, repeating Diru. But you can’t help but admit Toshiya’s talent once you hear this song.
YOSHIKI- Drum solo (live) -fangirly flails- Yoshiki on the drums! I love watching this, because Yo-chan is my hero. He’s so intense that it’s worth the hour(s) it took to upload. And there are fireworks, and it’s nearly 10 minutes long! I think it’s even more amazing that he played for so long, so hard, with his neck brace on.
Moi Dix Mois- Spiral (live) It really upset me when Kazuno left M10M, because he’s a great bassist, and I think he’s adorable. This is from the Scars of Sabbath DVD, and is just as good as Mana’s solo from that concert.
Phantasmagoria- Pixy False I hate that this file is so big, for a song. Yummy guitar solo by... the guitarist. (Can’t remember his name)

Schwarz Stein: Queen of Decadence |
] |
This week’s theme: Instrumentals and vocal-less songs. And I love this category because sometimes pure music can carry much more meaning than lyrics. Leave a comment please. I love them~
hide- PSYENCE Spy music meets swing. And a soda fizzing at the beginning. :D
Kozi- Izayoi no Tsuki The namesake from his Izayoi no Tsuki. Yes, it sounds like Kaikou, but the entire album leads up to that song. Very haunted house-ish, but I think it’s beautifully composed. I just don’t understand why there’s a random baby…
Gackt- noesis (instrumental) When the Todokanai Ai single came out, I liked this song better. And the instrumental version just sounds better.
X- Xclamation This is my recommended song for this rotation. IT’S PURE GENIUS. Starts all peaceful, and then the bass, and the guitars..and the drums! And more guitar! And …yeah I drool over this song ^^;
Hora- SPELLBOUND -happy dance- Someone finally put up some of Hora’s solo work after Schwarz Stein. My other recommended download. I’d always heard good stuff about it, but now I know why. It’s very addicting.
Malice Mizer- Shuumaku e no Tobira This is from their first demo, Sans Logique. Also very haunted house-ish, but it’s good. I have a live version where there are lyrics, but I think this one is better. Considering that it’s such an old demo, I don’t think the quality is so poor, but I still apologize.
YOSHIKI- Without you (for hide) This isn’t the full 45 minute version. Just a short clip, but I love it because it proves that you don’t need words to understand something. The first time I heard it, I didn’t know it had been written for hide, but it was obviously about saying goodbye to someone.
X-The End of the World Sound familiar? That’s because it’s the original indie version of The Art of Life. ^__^ I think I like this version better because the piano banging sounds different, and even crazier.

This week’s theme: I decided to take advantage of my heritage, and so this rotation features songs with Spanish influences.
P.S.:There’s bonus stuff at the bottom because there were actual less songs than I thought that fit this theme, even though I looked through every jrock and anime CD I have… DON’T FORGET TO COMMENT!
P.P.S: I did some research and it seems I made a mistake on my playlist. The Taiji songs that I uploaded for patazilla aren’t by Taiji. They’re by Heath. Sorry about that. ^^;
Miyavi- Senor, Senora, Senorita I really like this song, even though I’m not so in love with Miyavi anymore. And it gets stuck in my head at least once a day. I can’t wait for the PV to come out.
PORNO GRAFFITTI- Agehachou ~Red Mix~ Even my parents like this song, which is a miracle in itself. The flute…thingie that they play in this song reminds me a lot of this traditional Peruvian instrument called a quena And that’s my international trivia for today. ^^
ORANGE RANGE- Onegai! Senorita I heart OR. This song is just like them, fun and catchy.
Malice Mizer- Uruwashiku Kamen no Shoutaijo I’m kinda stretching it out here, but this song does remind me of a fast paced tango.
Sendai Kamotsu- Samba de Carry On! Nightmare’s alter-ego band. These guys are CRAZY.
Noir- Romance Okay, this is actually an anime song. I have no idea who performs this, especially because it’s instrumental. However, it’s very Spanish-ish, and beautiful in my opinion. If you play video games, it should remind you of the Gerudo music in the N64 Zelda games.
Bonus stuff:
D- Yami yori kurai doukoku no acapella to bara yori akai jounetsu no aria PV -giggles at the name- I wish I had known about this song earlier for the long title rotation. Putting up the PV (despite my computer’s slowness on YSI) because the song seems more powerful when you see the surroundings. And because Hide-zou is pretty. XD I’m permanently jealous of Asagi for being able to hit notes that I can’t. >_>; D is also remaking their entire The Name of the ROSE album so that they can show off their new bassist. I really want to hear it, but I’m a bit worried what they’ll do to this song, since it’s my 2nd favorite on the album.
L‘Arc~en~Ciel- Snowdrop PV I feel kinda bad for ignoring L’Arc. So here’s a really old PV. I like the concept behind it, that the band is so amazing that they make the earth burst into life. ^_^
hide- LEMONed I Scream PV There are so many versions of this song that I don’t know which is the original. I just call this “the elevator music” version. But it’s good! XD The PV is fun too, basically a kaleidoscope of lemons floating around, just to get you dizzy.
Velvet Eden- Tsuppari Visual Rock’n’Roll I had to throw this in because I love crazy songs like this. The title means “wannabe visual rock’n’roll” And this is the most un-Velvet-Eden-ish song EVER. Just when you think you know Dada… >_>;

This week’s theme: Requests.
Well, this is the last rotation for this year, and I must say that I’m proud of myself for not missing a rotation yet. ^_^ I made a new Velvet Eden layout for the site (with some help from burning_haven) Anywho, I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and don't forget to comment. Now without further ado, here are the songs:
For patazilla
Taiji- Crack Yourself (album ver) For some reason, the guitar in this song reminds me A LOT of hide-ish music.
Taiji- Live the Moment This song isn’t bad, it’s just not great.
For buring_haven
Yoshiki/VIOLET UK- Sex and Religion This song gets more addictive the more you listen to it. It’s has nice vocals…by someone (I forgot to write down her name) and dark creepy lyrics. I believe this is the first version Yoshiki sent out, and then took back.
Mika Nakashima- GLAMOROUS SKY -singsong voice- I hate this song, I hate this song. Okay, maybe not hate, but strongly dislike. It’s from the NANA soundtrack and has Mika doing rock music, which is completely weird from her usual pop/jazz stuff. Oh, and it was written by HYDE.
La:Sadies- Maimu Blah, blah, they sound weird.
Dong Bang Shin Ki- The Way U Are If you take the Backstreet Boys, make them Korean and make them 100x prettier, this is what you get.
Dong Bang Shin Ki- (feat BoA & The TRAX)- TRI-ANGLE I used to have the PV for this, but I lost it when my computer crashed. Too bad, because the DSBG boys did a very funny synchronized dance routine and Rose looked amazing
My picks: (Just so that this isn’t so empty)
Rentrer en Soi- Itsuwari no Uzu I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. It’s beautiful and my new ReS favorite.
Velvet Eden- Hanauri Musume Velvet Eden is definitely an acquired taste, but once you decide that you like them, you’re trapped. I have an unhealthy obsession with this song, and with Dada in general, as someone here knows. *coughcough* EDIT: Eh..I just noticed I was talking about a different song (Ningyou Shokan) than what I actually put up. Either way, this song is still scary. ^^;
hide- Celebration (w/ I.N.A. DIE & Pata) I finally found the mp3 version of this song! =^^= Now everyone can hear the rotation’s namesake song.

This week’s theme: Numbers, which is pretty much self-explanatory.
I feel bad that I never let you guys request anything, so as a late Christmas present, next update will be a request rotation. I recently updated my play list, so hopefully everyone finds something they like. Don’t forget to leave a comment, even if you don’t request anything.
And in other news, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! n__n
Deathgaze- 29403224052 Yes…that’s the real title for this song.
hide- FROZEN BUG‘93 (Antidote Remix) From the Psy-Clone remix album. I really like this song, but I’m just weird. ^^; If you don’t like the sounds of tin cans being hit, then you shouldn’t get this song. But if you like obscure references to the Russian author Kafka, then go ahead and download.
Dir en Grey- 304 Goushitsu, Hakashi no Sakura PV Dir en Grey in a mental institution? What a ridiculous idea… .>_>;
Nightmare 36.7 Not much to say about this song.
Tetsu69 15½ ~fifteen half~ Soft and pretty. Typical Tetsu music
Gackt- Freesia ~op. 1~ This song is about Mana, I swear! And no one will ever convince me otherwise. The lyrics use male pronouns and talk about their eyes meeting across the room in a small café. (And that’s exactly where he met Mana, according to MM interviews) Plus a freesia is a flower that symbolizes honor and respect.
Gazette- No. [666] PV I downloaded this a million years ago, and haven’t watched it yet myself. But it’s another video where the band is in a mental hospital. It’s one of my favorite songs, but the chorus always makes think they’re screaming out “Happy Birthday” But they’re not, the actual words are “BLOODY ANNIVERSARY” which is reflected very well in the PV, since it’s all gory.
L’Arc~en~Ciel- Route 666 This song is the sexiest thing in the world. If you don’t have this, DOWNLOAD IT!
hide- Fucfuctract #6.1 (feat Nine Inch Nails) Three cheers for hide being a complete pervert!
