PSA for [info]kharma2815
I'm having a bit of a panic attack here, you know you said that you couldn't come to see Hamlet which made us all sad and left me with two spare tickets? Did we sell them on to someone else or not? I can't find any notes ANYWHERE which say if we did or not and I appear to not have any money for them (which would make sense if you said you couldn't come and didn't pay me). Halp?

A whole world of fail
LJ are bringing back Basic Accounts. Only they're not. They're bringing us slightly less ad-covered free accounts. And by the looks of things if you have a basic account which is ad-free at the moment, it won't stay that way for long. I say by the looks of things, because it really isn't clear. Fail LJ.

***

Due to His Lordship being made of fail I won't be going to see The Dark Knight at the IMAX this weekend. This makes me very very sad.

***

I need to remember to book my car in for its £140 warranty service. I don't know where I'm going to find the money to pay for it :( I don't get paid for another fortnight.

***

Work is so made of fail it's not even funny.

It's amazing who you bump into at Tescos

Oh No Hands, you've become such a sellout. You were the LOLest of LOLcats and you're reduced to appearing on the front of a birthday card. Bad form No Hands, bad form.

More adventures in glass fusing
Saturday I had the house to myself and no reason to venture outside and interact with people, so I was up bright and early (no really, I was up at 6.50am) ready to load up the kiln and get it going.

A plea to my flist for help!
There was an lj-er who, towards the start of the year, did a bunch of posts going through Hamlet scene-by-scene. I meant to bookmark it for future reference but I forgotted and now I can't find the lj-er. :(

Do any of you remember the posts or have the postee on their flists?

Fictional Character Shagging Meme
via [info]hopelessfangirl

1. Bold the names of guys you'd definitely shag.
2. Italicize the names of guys you might shag after a little persuasion.
3. Leave the guys who don't do anything for you alone.
4. Put a question mark after the guys you've never heard of.
5. Strike the guys you wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.
6. ADD FOUR OF YOUR OWN AT THE END.

Illustrated thoughts on Doctor Who 4x13
My illustrated review is a little bit epic this week. But stick with it because I'd like your comments on some of the plot points.

Are we supposed to go and play outside now? )

owie!
In my office, by the front door is an occasional table. It's square, birch effect and about 18 inches high. Me and the occasional table have had a good relationship over the last five years. It's let me stand on it to hang Christmas decorations, it's been the gatekeeper of number files and booklets, but today that's all changed.

I was walking past said table this morning when it jumped up and attacked me. ATTACKED ME! I can't explain it. There's no way I could have walked into it. I've walked past it about a million times. I definitely wasn't as rubbish to have walked into it. Oh no.

I've been left with a massive egg of a bump just under my kneecap so my left leg now has two kneecaps, I can't bend my leg and driving home tonight absolutely killed. (I took the route back with the least gear changes).

Suffice to say the occasional table and I are no longer on speaking terms.

I'm going to give Bonekickers a try. Why? )

I've finally figured out how to set up playlists on my Creative Zen (Instruction booklets? Who reads them?)and also figured out how to do a random shuffle. Anyhoo, getting back the point I wanted to make... I've set up a playlist of all my favourite Muse songs (out of the 1.3gb of Muse I have on my p3 player).

Listening to songs like Muscle Museum straight after listening to something like Starlight or Knights of Cydonia really emphasise how young Matt Bellamy sounds (Mind you there is about 10 years and 5 massive tours inbetween the recording of those tours, it's no wonder Matt Bellamy is sounding a bit rougher (but not in a bad way)).

In other news:
Dexter's back! (Spoilers) )

Can anyone explain to me why I love Top Gear so much? I don't even like cars all that much and drive more like James May than Jeremy Clarkson.

***

Made more glass stuff. I'm getting onto slightly more complex shapes now. Pictures will be forthcoming shortly. I've also got myself onto another glass fusing course on Monday. I'm going to take all the bits I've done at home that I'm not happy with and ask for advice on how to stop stuff like tiny air bubbles and whatnot.

A quick glance around my flist leads me to believe that everyone is very nervous in the run up to 6.40pm.

I'm distracting myself by watching the lovely Gok Wan.

Things that happened to me today
[info]who_daily = skip=450. My hands are dead from typing. And the E has completely disappeared off the E key. Im ay need a new keyboard as I can't find my e-key now, even though I touch type (obviously my typing isn't that touchy)

Am immensely disappointed by the complete and total lack of commentaries (or any other extra) on the Pushing Daisies boxset (they don't even have animated menus, even crap DVD's have them). However I think I'm a bit in love with Ned (I think superficially it's the fact he's tall, lanky and has dark hair, bit like my bit in loveness with Chuck from Chuck. Not Chuck from Pushing Daisies)

Still haven't really recovered from the cat sick incident although my duvet should be nearly dry now. I shall have to cat proof it just in case. I do wish I'd woken up quicker. Bilbo is now aware that if he does it again that he's off to the vets for a check-up.
