General discussion: Out of curiosity [Saturday October 4th, 2008 9:43am] punk_makeup [statik_succubi] Now, while i'm definately not an LJ community nazi whatsoever- I'm curious as to how a lot of people slide into rating communities while the community boasts in profile a specific genre of look required, etc.? This is PUNK makeup. We have an application process. If someone applies that does not 'listen' to punk music nor reflects anything punk (lifestyle included)...there are plenty of other communities regarding great makeup application. The more out of charachter people that join communities like this deletes the purpose of a genre completely. A lot of members here comment a lot "well, your bands are definately not punk, etc.. but i really like your makeup" or "You're music is terrible, but i like that necklace you're wearing, so yes"... Is that the midway for some people here? Just curious. 14 COMMENT

Sharing it, getting new ideas, and talking about it. 2) what's your favorite daily makeup? (describe eyes, lips, skin, etc.) Colorful eyeshadow. I like trying new things with my eyes. I rarely wear lipstick so normally just a nice gloss. I have naturally pale skin so sometimes I don't wear foundation, but normally I do, just to get that fresh look..plus I hate my freckles. 3) what's your favorite daily hair? While we are for the most part very nice people who wouldn't mind helping you pick out a sandwich or a bag or whatever, this is not the place to do it. It even says so in the name. This is the place to post what is inside of your bag. That is all. There are many, many other communities out there to talk about bags alone and help you pick out which ones to get. 2 looks and an update [Wednesday October 1st, 2008 7:40pm] punk_makeup [horrorshowhope] [ mood | annoyed ] so... i havnt posted in what seems like forever, but ive been super busy. i started esthetician school 2 months ago here in austin. i have to complete 750 hours to get my liscense then im off to orlando to go to Joe Blasco! i havnt been doing anything special lately but heres a few from recently. [Monday September 29th, 2008 3:58pm] punk_makeup [thenewblackxx] Since Friday, I've been to the ER once and to the doctor's office twice. I still had to make time for my job and to do makeup for two weddings and then today I did a little photoshoot. AND, the 3 year old daughter of one of the brides decided to "play" in my makeup when I wasn't paying attention. ...RIP two MAC lipsticks and a MAC shadestick. I also got a horrible haircut that had to be fixed today. ( So, today's makeup plus new hair. ) 7 COMMENT
