This is the first time I've been sick since going vegetarian. Since chicken noodle soup is out of the question... what are your sick-type comfort foods?
What do you feed your kids when they're ill?
(I'm not throwing up, but my stomach has not been happy with me for a couple days)

Plugs were invoiced/paid on 7/21 and I got them in the mail yesterday (7/25). Shipping was super fast and the plugs were each in their own bag, a nice touch to prevent any possible chipping during shipping.

Hello. I'm brand new to this community, but have been lurking forever. I finally decided I have a good enough reason to post.
My guy wants me to cut my hair. I've been growing it out for two years, after having chopped it very short to spite my ex-husband (lol) Anyway, I have a picture of the style that he wants, but it's a picture from a virtual reality game. I was wondering if anyone here could provide me with photos of real women with this hair cut? (My hair is VERY thin, by the way - it looks thicker because it is dark.)
Also, I am going to post a small time line of me with short and long hair...would you let me know if you think this hair cut would look ok on me? If not, could you post photos of haircuts that you think would look good on me?
Also...I have been thinking of dying my hair, but didn't want to when it was long. Now that I may be cutting it short, I was thinking of dying it. Could you all recommend a color that would look good on me? I'll be going to a salon to get my hair cut, but would do the color at home.

EDIT: I've been told my hair is way too wavy for the below cut...is there any other cut, long OR short, that may look good on me? Any photos? Also, hair color? And yes...I'll be getting help with my eyebrows <g>

So I'm bored with my hair once again but cause it's so short there's not much I can do
with it at the moment except colouring it.
Right now it looks like this:
Napalm orange and atomic pink. I've had it for about a month and it hasn't faded/refuses to be bleached out sooo I think I'm going to let it grow out a bit until I decide what colours next.
Any suggestions of what colours?

| Cheap and Easy Chickpea Curry |

I looked in the tags but this isn't like the other one available.
Sorry I don't have pictures, I made this the other night and spent most of my time eating it, rather than taking pictures.
Ingredients
1 can of coconut milk
1 can of chickpeas
1 vegan bullion (optional, not necessary)
2(ish) tblspn curry (to your taste)
2 cups rice (i used instant rice cuz i'm poor and impatient)
heat the can of coconut milk in a sauce pan and add the curry and (optional) bullion. mix well. when mixed, add the can of chickpeas. Bring to a slow boil, and I boil cooked it for about 5-7 minutes... until the coconut milk thickened up a little bit.
Serve over rice
makes about 4(ish) servings.

I have to bring something to a potluck tomorrow but i can't think of what i should bring. there wont be any vegans there but obviously we want to make something vegan anyway...something that people wont realize is vegan and is somewhat easy to make and bring on a long car ride. Thanks
