I just went and bought a ticket to Jingle Bash 2003 in Seattle :o Why? 2 words: Clay Aiken, yes, this is quite possibly the wildest thing I've ever done. Here's hoping my friend or Coyo can get off work to go up with me.
So as not to look completely whacko, I've never been to Seattle before, so I'm thinking road trip too.

So... I passed the initial interview with the Assistant Manager at Wal Mart, she told me "I'm thinking cashier/register for you, maybe in Electronics" and told me to come back today to meet with Phillip in Electronics.
I hope that's a good thing :|

So around 6:45 this morning, my radio went on to Rick Dees, and I heard Ellen K mention "I want to be with Clay at #1" Then Rick announced his album moved 360,000 copies or something of that nature. Who cares about the exact number, he's NUMBER ONE baby!!!!!
And I have a job interview today @ 3:30 gulp

As much as I loved waking up to Clay this morning on Good Morning America, I was also kind of disappointed... don't get me wrong, I loved seeing him perform The Way (which is what I hoped for, but realistically I figured I Will Carry You) but come on, us fans watching on tv got screwed of Clay-ity goodness, they kept focusing on his band and the audience. :|
With that opinion stated, I'm still saying The Tonight Show is still my favorite performance. He radiated so much energy on Monday, both times. Oh well, maybe he took it slower because it was so much earlier :o |

I went to the Tonight Show taping, and he rocked the house, Wanda Sykes didn't say much about him, but we sort of eye-balled her during his performance, and she was cracking up at the fan enthusiasm. Oh, and can I just say, he did an encore of Invisible just for us fans in the studio, after Leno ended. At one point, I shouted "We love you Clay!" He made eye contact with me and WINKED! I got winked at!
And the CD Release Party... it was Heaven... Clay, himself dropped by, and I held onto him several times. Well, his hand for some reason, kept going back to holding mine, at one point I found my hand up his jacket sleeve, so I pulled a Michelle (my friend) and ran my hand up his arm, oh my God, the hair is sooo soft and furry! :P Michelle and I got rammed into the side of the van by the fans behind us, Clay saw and was like "Honey be careful" to both of us. sigh Then, he pulled himself up, so his top half was sticking out of the window, I was eye-level with his tummy, so I poked it, he actually adjusted his pants right after I did so, then I tickled his tummy, it's not boney at all, very soft, I bet he's got a wee bit of tummy going on now. It was great to see him before he headed to the airport, he seemed really happy to be with us. He kept telling us how amazing it was, and how amazing we were.
I took about 10 pictures of him visiting the party, and 2 illegal ones from Leno, those suckers bought the camera in the tampon box trick ;) But I need to get them developed.
But for now, I can barely keep my eyes open. So I'll finish the highlights tomorrow.
