I cozied up with mine this weekend and was awed.

All the pictures and stories ... It was the best issue ever.

When sedens was visiting I showed her my lonely Sasha, she must have taken pity on her and she sent her the most wonderful new outfit! Its so beautifully made and lookit how sweet she looks.

Had a wonderful Vacation! My wee Latis snuck into my suitcase, never had time for pics though ... a good thing cause I noticed they were in such a rush they were going commando. Naughty girls!

I ordered a new laptop - I am such a tech geek and then had to CLEAN and WASH because tubbysnuggles and sedens were coming over for doll play and lunch and crafting.
Oh .. and guess what? Someone came to stay here. Tierney used to live with sedens and now has a new home here!
Finally a School C for me! I love her smiley face!

Here is one last entry/pic before we leave.
I have been scurrying around getting ready to go - so much to do, but I had to take a pic of this new girl. I was captivated by the MSD f-18 at Dolpa and found one in the marketplace. She just arrived. I hate it when dolls arrive and I dont have time to play .. does not bode well for bonding.

AT NYC Dolpa I took the body maintenance class.
We got a great kit and earlier on advice from someone in line, I bought the ceramic knife. Which they used during the demo.
The stringing tools are so nice and work better than my string/wire method. We learned a lot, it is a recommended class even if you have been frankendollying like me.

It was very funny when Shelia was taking her SD16 girl apart and they had to call the Dolly Dr. over - what a great intricate body that is!

BUY the ceramic knife! Its so much better than an exacto.
Now that I have some time I thought - OK, all girl bodies get ready for Maintenance!
Well 1.5 hours later 1 girl down, 4 to go (one was an FCS body and already sanded - SO worth it!)
Why do I always bit off more than I can chew?



Mr Enku's careful lessons were running thru my brain , esp when I created a flat spot sanding, he was emphatic, sand across not lengthwise. Now onto to doll # 2.

ANY thoughts I might have have about adding another full doll to the brood, please remind me of this, my wrists are killing me!

All the bodies are in the same position, I was amazed at how dirty some girls were and how the yellower ones really became bright again.
I switched to all Volks Heads because I think I will make a Thank You card and send it to Volks.
My hands are so sore ... Advil here I come

O_O I love white! this dress is an amazing set. I just put Liz in it and the single dress was enough for her, Connie wore the printed top at Dolpa on Sunday.

I found out much to my surprise I love tuberous Begonias. Somehow my flower order last year got messed up and ... I discovered they love my patio, and I love them. Liz is by the Scarlet ones.
Her wig is one of the new Dollgas ... they are making such great wigs now. The fiber is so nice and very in scale, not too much hair either.

Connie thought the Mid Summer Nights Dream theme for Dolpa deserved some cosplay.

I am sorting thru my HUGE folder of pics today and will post them later.
For now ... Connie, she really wanted to be the Queen!

UFDC Regional Conference in Albany. I was sharing a booth with a friend and had hopes of selling my dolls and kits cause I need dolly dough!
