- I love John Prine like a grandfather. Nothing he has ever done has made me mad, and I enjoy everything he enjoys. I wish I could follow him around the country, but I have to work, or the sane folks will say I'm lazy. I guess that's enough, except I wish he could be my babies' grandaddy.
