Bio
Greetings. So who am I? I'm a graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and of the University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in the same subject. I'm an extreme introvert; specifically, for those who follow Myers-Briggs typology, I'm an INTP.

I'm a self-proclaimed language geek and compulsive proofreader, as well as a former National Spelling Bee contestant. I tend to be more deliberate with my written communication than many, so you won't see me write such things as "how r u im fine thx!!!~" unless my tongue is firmly planted in my cheek. (Why do we say that, anyway? I'd think things would be rather unintelligible that way...)

As a peek through my icons will reveal, I'm also a fanboy of the character Kasuga Ayumu— or, as she's better known, "Osaka"— from the anime/manga series Azumanga Daioh. Why? Let's see... I'm known to be rather spacey, frequently lost in thought, socially clueless and sometimes known to ramble on completely random tangents, way too easily amused, sometimes slow to catch onto things, a fan of wordplay... and beyond that, I'm rather atypical in personality for the region in which I grew up (the southern US). Rather Osaka-esque, in other words!

What I'm not is neurologically typical; I have, among numerous other neurological quirks, Attention Deficit Disorder and Asperger's syndrome.
