Summary:Deleting information that was supposedly deleted and purged
Original Request:
I had a livejournal many years ago and have since deleted and purged the account. However, I was alarmed to find when I searched the name that posts from my profile still came up. This makes me very uncomfortable as I recently had my computer hacked into and have lost important data. I understand that I was younger and was not quite aware of what it meant to put information on the internet but if there is any way that you can help me out with deleting post information and responses I would be forever grateful. My account name was: Supyokat.

Thank you.

The LiveJournal account supyokat has been deleted and all of its information purged from LiveJournal's servers.

However, LiveJournal does not have any control to affect search engine results. These sites create their own copies of the material that they archive and store them on their own servers--we therefore have no ability to remove any copies they may have from their servers or cache.

If such sites do not update their archives to reflect that the source material has been deleted, you will need to contact them directly for assistance.
