Original Request:
No matter what, i can't view any comments since yesterday.
I can see "49 comments" (e.g.) but not the comments themselves.
I've tried checking everything, from antivirus to java but that's not the problem.
Diagnostics: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1

The behavior you describe indicates that LiveJournal pages are having trouble loading certain elements of the page which require JavaScript to load correctly.
There are many things which can cause this to not function properly, including:
* JavaScript could be disabled in your browser. Please ensure your browser has JavaScript enabled.
* Setting the "security" level of your web browser too high. Adjusting your browser's security setting to a lower level can help in this case.
* Installing add-ons or toolbars in your web browser, especially add-ons which attempt to block ads or scripts from running, can cause this behavior. Disabling all browser add-ons and toolbars can be helpful for the purpose of testing this.
* Anti-virus software interfering with scripts being run. You may need to try disabling your anti-virus software before loading LiveJournal pages for the purpose of testing if it is interfering with pages loading correctly.
* The presence of spyware/malware on your computer. Third party programs installed without your permission can change the way pages load. Many popular programs exist to identify and remove spyware/malware from your computer. We recommend using your preferred search enginge to search for "spyware removal" to find a program which can help remove spyware from your computer.

This is not helping in any way.
I did not change settings or update anything in any of my computers and java is enabled.
Hope someone fixes this soon.

Many programs can update without their users being aware. Other LiveJournal users are reporting that checking the settings outlined in the previous reply sent to you resolves the issue. Please recheck your settings at this time.

Thank you for your response. We have noticed that most users affected by this issue seem to be in specific countries in Europe. If possible, could you try pinging l-stat.livejournal.com both without connecting through your proxy and while connecting through it and let us know what IP address you see it using in each case?

Thank you for the additional information. Our operations team has made some changes which we believe will prevent this problem from occurring. If this is still happening, please clear your browser's cache (even if you have done so previously), then try to load a page which was not displaying properly. Instructions on how to clear your browser's cache can be found at http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=160. If this does not fix the problem, please let us know so we can continue to investigate the cause of this issue.
