| Summary: | Adverts still showing on Paid Account ... |
|
LiveJournal uses server-side caching to improve site performance during periods of heavy load. This can cause a delay between when a change is made and when logged-out users see these changes.

Really. Since upgrading about an hour ago I'm having real problems navigating livejournal. It's taking minutes to navigate from one page to another. I hope this isn't the shape of things to come. It's the very reason I downgraded to a Basic Account before. The quality of service I was getting was atrocious. I wasn't having problems before I made the upgrade. |

Some users reported site slowness around the time you reported problems navigating LiveJournal, however they have indicated they are no longer experiencing trouble. Are you still experiencing difficulty navigating the site? |
|
Yes. Still experiencing frustratingly slow page upload speeds. I can't believe it. Barely an hour into upgrading to a Paid Account, the same old issues again. I'm so glad I held off upgrading my other LJ accounts back to Paid status.

LiveJournal Support did eventually receive additional reports of slowness, but has not received any in several hours. Please let us know if you are still experiencing this issue.

Maybe you should check out 'downrighnow' at little more often. There has been sitewide disruption since last night. How do you expect people who are having problems to get in touch with you if they can't access their journals/lj?
