Summary:More problems viewing basic-account journals
Original Request:
I filed a trouble ticket after one of the recent "improvements", when the thumbnail-based userpic selector no longer worked when commenting in journals with the most basic account level. You told me to use a different browser, but I *can't* use a different browser, because my computer is too old to run anything more sophisticated.

Anyway, you must have "improved" something again, because now when I look at an entry in one of those basic journals, I can't see any of the comments! I'll see the line that says "X comments" (twice), but no trace of the comments themselves. The only way I can even reply to a comment is by clicking on "Reply at the webpage" in the email notification.

Yes, I've cleared the cache and everything. Yes, I can use "?style=mine" as a workaround. But really, this shouldn't be happening.
Diagnostics: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.0; rv:12.0) Gecko/20120429 Firefox/12.0 SeaMonkey/2.9.1

In order to investigate this problem, we will need links to the pages you are attempting to view which are not rendering correctly.

Thank you for your report and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Our site operations team has made a change, and I'm now able to see comments to that entry. If you are still experiencing trouble, please try clearing your browser's cache. If that does not help, please reply so we can investigate further.

No, it still doesn't display the comments. I've cleared the cache, closed and re-opened my browser, even rebooted my computer. I still see only "(X comments)", some space, and then "(X comments)" again.

LiveJournal staff have made additional changes they believe should have addressed this issue. Please clear your browser's cache [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=160] and reply to this message if the problem continues.

Nope, still not displaying the actual comments.

This is not happening with *every* journal, only the ones with very basic accounts. Then there's the next tier up, where I can see the comments, and even select userpics, but when I type in the entry box it lags way behind my typing. (This leads to a lot of typos, because I have to wait until I can see what I typed, and then correct what my fingers did when I couldn't see it happening.)

Because your browser does not seem to support LiveJournal's site scheme comment pages, you may wish to try viewing other journals in your journal's style as a workaround. Please see the 'Other Comment Pages' section of this FAQ [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=175] for how to do this.
