My public entries are not appearing in the Livejournal search engine. In my account privacy settings, I have set my entries to be visible to everyone, and I have minimized neither the inclusion of my journal, not my comments' in search engine results. What can I do?

I apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with the search on LiveJournal. The search system has a number of known issues with it and we are currently investigating the best way to resolve these issues.

You may wish to try searching with the 'All' option (rather than the 'People & Communities' option), as some people find that a search using this option will at least return some results. You may also wish to try alternate methods of searching for content, such as an interests search. Please see [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=202] for information.

You can also try using a search engine such as Google to search, restricting the search to within the livejournal.com domain using the 'Advanced search' page.
