Summary:More Options drop-down menu doesn't work
Original Request:
The drop-down menu on S2 styles for choosing other accounts (LJ/OpenID/anonymous/etc.) doesn't work in IE8. I've tried on multiple different journals and communities, and the result is the same: the drop-down menu for choosing accounts/anonymous doesn't drop down (it's stuck on my LJ account), and clicking "Other user" just takes me to the top of the page. Below is the error message I received on one page. The line numbers change based on what journal/community I'm on, but the character numbers are always the same (first is 25, second is 9).

Webpage error details

Thank you for your report. The issue with changing user login types has been forwarded to LiveJournal developers, who will investigate the problem and take the appropriate actions to resolve it. You may wish to watch the lj_releases community [http://lj_releases.livejournal.com/profile], where a fix will be announced once it has been implemented. I apologize for the inconvenience.

A month later, this is still broken. Any chance of getting it fixed? Ever?

I apologize for the delay in responding to your comment, and in this issue being resolved.

Unfortunately, we don't have an estimate on when it will be resolved. I understand this isn't the answer you were looking for, and I apologize that I don't have different or better information to give you. That said, there is a ticket in a bug tracking system for this issue, and our developers are aware of it.
