Summary:Editing entries or commenting on other's entries results in IE Error
Original Request:
This has been going on for about two weeks now, with no improvement.

When I try to open a journal entry for editing, or often when I click on the link to "Comment" on someone else's LJ entry, I get the "Internet Explorer has encountered an error and needs to close" message.

Sometimes the browser DOES close. Sometimes it fails to post/edit the entry. Sometimes it works.

But in the main, it is buggy and frustrating.

Could you please fix whatever you broke with a recent update?

This is Internet Explorer 8.

Thank you,
            HalfshellVenus

I apologize for the delay in responding to your request. We have been unable to reproduce this behavior, but several other users have indicated they are also experiencing this problem. The common factor in all cases is the use of Internet Explorer 8. While we are working to identify the cause of the problem, upgrading your browser to the most recent version of Internet Explorer or using an alternate browser should prevent this problem for occurring.
