Hello, how do you change the timezone so when i update my journal, it reads the time of my country(asia, Singapore)?

If you have JavaScript enabled, the web client will get the time and date from your computer's settings. If JavaScript is disabled, the time and date shown will be that of the LiveJournal servers (PDT - http://www.worldtimeserver.com/?locationid=US-WA will show you the current time [note that the site is not affiliated with LiveJournal and may change at any time]) and you will need to manually set the time and date each time you post.

Alternatively, you could download a client (http://www.livejournal.com/download) which will automatically grab the time and date from your computer's clock regardless of whether JavaScript is on or off.

You should also note that friend's entries on your friends page will always show up with their date and time. Also, comments are timestamped with the server's time (PDT). There is no way to change either.


If you have incorrectly dated entries, the above FAQ will instruct you on fixing them.
