Summary: email validation ongoing issue

Following the last update at Christmas, I was informed that my email needed validating even though it had been validated for years with no issues and no changes to address etc.

I tried, but I'm not recieving the validation email. I have tried continuously for weeks with no luck. I then tried to change to a different email address - same problem. I know that these email addresses are not the problem as they work for everyone else. The message also said that 'we have been recieving errors from the server for at least a week'... well, livejournal can't have been getting error for a week as the last email notification I got was the day before I suddenly got the validation message popping up. Also, I noticed on my support ticket previously that my email was listed as transitioning; has changed email address but not yet validated. No, I hadn't changed it at that point.

I have tried following the troubleshooting and no, the emails are not going into spam, they are not being redirected/filtered. There is obviously not a problem with my email as I was recieving them just fine a day before this all began. Obviously it is a problem at livejournal's side.

I've raised support tickets for this already with no replies/help.
  
PLEASE FIX THIS so that I can use my account properly again.

I am now unable to post comments or entries following the attempt to change to another email address (which failed, by the way - THE VALIDATION EMAILS ARE STILL NOT COMING THROUGH AND NO, IT IS NOT A FAULT WITH MY EMAIL. I doubt that all three email adresses I trid can all have a fault.)

PLEASE FIX THIS OR AT LEAST RESPOND SO I KNOW ITS NOT JUST BEING IGNORED
