Summary: Scrapbook Storage space query
Original Request:
Nearing the end of my account paid time I've been going through my Scrapbook pics and downsizing them to give myself enough storage space. At one time I'd got down to 655 kb which then suddenly shot up to 819.10 kb and has remained at that size for about 2 weeks now, despite my continuation of downsizing pics. I really need to know how I'm getting on with this and the real size of my storage space

Thank you

Please see the FAQ at [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=246] for a link to the File Manager where you can check to see how much of your storage space you are using.

Since you have a Paid account, you have the option to purchase additional storage space if you are about to exceed your current allotment. You can purchase additional storage space by visiting [http://www.livejournal.com/shop/view.bml?item=diskspace].

Alternately, you may wish to delete images that you no longer wish to have uploaded. You can do this by following the instructions in the FAQ located at [http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=252].

This didn't answer my question as outlined above. My paid time runs out on the 24th and as I had been down-sizing pics I had seen my storage space down-size to 655kb. Suddenly one day this increased to 819.10kb and has remained at that level ever since despite continuing to sort and downsize my pics. If this level is to stay the same forever, even if I ADD more pics then that is fine, if it is to increase then I have little storage space left for my, soon to be, unpaid account. I would like to know why the 655kb suddenly increased to 819 when I've been decreasing pics already accounted for?

When decreasing pic size before I had seen the storage size level drop every time I refreshed the page and now it seems to be 'stuck' at 819.10.

Just one final thought, having googled kb to gb maybe I have a lot more space than I thought for my soon to be unpaid account. I had thought I only had 1,000 kb of space to reach 1gb but it seems it may be more, if so then all is fine, so could you please confirm just what the difference is between kb and gbs - thank you.

There are 1,000KB in 1MB and 1,000 MB in 1GB. You're not even using up 1MB of space at this point.
