To post audio recordings to your journal, first set up your voice post preferences. You can then record your message by calling either (888) 840-6189 or (888) LJ-VPOST (558-7678).

» How do I play or transcribe a voice post?

Most voice posts display with a Flash player that allows you to play the voice post directly in the entry. However, you can also click the "VoicePost" link to download the file and play it with your computer's software. Additionally, the "transcribe" link allows authorized users to post a written transcription. You can see an example of a voice post here.

Paid, Permanent and Plus users can post by email or text message. On your Mobile Post Settings page, start by setting an allowed sender address and an authentication method (PIN, PGP or GPG public key).

There is no way to podcast other audio files through LiveJournal.
