How do I change what my comment links say?

This FAQ applies only to the old style system (S1), which is no longer supported. See this FAQ for instructions for the newer style system.

Change the text of your comment links in S1 using the Overrides box on the Journal Display page. The

howto journal offers the overrides you should use. Since the overrides vary with each journal style, you must use the correct overrides for your layout.

Paid Accounts also have the option to create or copy a style, then edit the TALK_LINKS and TALK_READLINK variables within that style.
