another night. with some whiskey...
i am pleased to announce the curtailing of billable work hours at BAD Liquor, due to budgetary shortfall constraints and misappropriated upward mobility partially caused by a failure of liquidity in the asset pool resulting in restrained progressive spending. BAD Liquor INC. may also have to curtail redundancies in the human resources talent pool to stimulate further creative output from our most goal-oriented production assets. this situation has come about due to a localized negative economic windfall status mirroring nationwide trends for downsizing and restructure to ensure the future success potential for the long-term survival of BAD Liquor INC. in the face of global economic turmoil.
fuck, isn't that what you learn at MBA school? gimme one of those.
in other news, i would like to take back the word "infidel" from the religious. this word has been hogged by fundamentalists for far too long, and it is now my mission to retake it. at this time i would like to express my desire to burn people at the stake (this is just a turn of phrase, i plan on having far more than simply one "the stake", i plan on economically covering far more ground this way) for my own sick atheist purposes. and it is my intention to label them as "infidels". however, i want in no way to associate myself with a religiously themed organization, and thus my wish to liberate my intended moniker for my victims. hell, i don't want to call them "victims". this insinuates some sort of innocence which does not exist. "infidel" is a far more perfect word. and i'm taking it back.
this is going to require some firepower, and i'm looking for ground-floor investors, as it were. i am willing to share "infidel" with anyone, so long as it is not used for expressly religious purposes. i am also prepared to make available, in time-share fashion, any of my regional stake-burning facilities. as with the military, i shall adhere to a strict don't-ask-don't-tell policy, and so i will not be offended if any of the stake-burning facilities are used for perverse sexual purposes. all i ask is that "infidels" are put to the torch upon them, as per my definition, in the fashion of a 60% usury fee.
at this time i would like to redefine "infidel" for my own personal use. hence forth, "infidel" shall refer to anyone whom i find to be personally reprehensible, regardless of religious belief or lack thereof. in short, anyone who refuses to accept my grand plan for the universe shall be labeled thusly and put to the torch. generally speaking, this will mean any grossly ignorant or willfully stupid individuals that i, or any of my investors should happen upon. this will also include douche-bags, cock-knobs, dill-holes, chronic recipients of unemployment, the french, self-proclaimed psychics, prophets (a term which i reserve the right to retake in the near future), any minority propping up an inappropriate stereotype, any majority propping up an even worse stereotype, undeserving rich people, non-humans masquerading as people and the vast majority of anyone willing to call themselves a "republican" and a somewhat less vast majority of those labeling themselves "democrat" and absolutely 100% of everyone affiliated with the so-called "constitution" party. this definition will hold to these definitions, however amendments are absolutely accepted, because we are operating from here on out under the pretenses of logic and reason. which, to the infidels, will seem like the opposite. which is why they are to be burned. no more "divine" right for you fucks. only fire.
all i am asking of my investors at this point, aside from the promise to burn a minimum 60% infidels at any of my stakes, is their willingness to storm the bastions of religious institution and aid me in retaking "infidel" at whatever personal cost. morals and ethics, while not required to, may be checked at the door of this new paragon until the job is completed. after all, infidels are not people and don't even qualify for animal rights. they are all slated to be burned at the stake, after all. you wouldn't do that to an innocent person or animal, would you? i wouldn't. and i certainly don't uphold the same morals and ethics for vegitables and minerals as i would for creatures, and most infidels probably don't even qualify for equal treatment amongst vegitables and minerals. think about it, would you put an infidel on your mantel? fuck no. a diamond or an orchid of some sort? absolutely. and even if you put your diamond on the floor and kicked it around, it would be with a higher degree of respect than if you were kicking around an infidel.
let a new dawn reign upon the earth, in which infidels are put to the torch, burnt to cripsy embers with the fire of the right! not the righteous, i don't even want to take that one back. fuck it, too much work. who will take up arms in the name of the right?

My Fanfic Ideas and Excerpts
Hey there, minna-san, how are you? Good? I hope so... I am still writing crossovers. The other day, I started writing a body-switch fic of Angelique and Get Backers (with a few "same seiyuu" jokes tucked in). There is something that causes Lumiale and Akabane to switch bodies, and their powers are also switched (so imagine Akabane summoning sacrea and Lumiale summoning scalpels). The fic will end with the Clavis x Lumiale pairing. ( Well, this is a very interesting situation... )There is also a Cafe Kichijouji de and Here Is Greenwood crossover. Shun and Jun are on student exchange with each other. Jun experiences the interesting dormitory (and yes, he does often have drop boulders or other large objects on or even throws the guys who make a remark about his appearance) while Master is hoping things don't get too crazy that Shun will tell everyone to never consider visiting the cafe. ( I was selected to take part in a student exchange program... )Aside from crossovers, I am still working on Yasusen fics, as well as Heart's Requiem, the final fic in my Lumiale x Eisen series. ( As much as this upsets me, there is someone else who misses him... )And here's an excerpt from my discrimination Yasusen fic... ( Please, you can't tell anybody... )And that's it for now, minna-san. Ja ne! |

God is kind!
After expending my energies in trying not to fret (and therefore end up fretting) over the possible loss of my shop data amongst other things, it finally turned out to be a happy ending for me. The home PC is up and working again, with everything is back in order and the world is beautiful all over again.
Gosh, how we need these small jolts in life to appreciate the things are that are important to us. So what if it's a few PSD documents. They're still my artwork and so much love and effort has gone into them. I'm so happy. :-) |

Children left the bower. "Yes; but no worse " answered the Weasel; "and here in the jungle honors are conferred only upon the unworthy. For if a truly great animal is honored he gets a swelled head and that renders him unbearable. They now regard the King of the Jungle with contempt and that makes all my subjects self-respecting. " "There is wisdom in that " declared the Woggle-Bug approvingly; "a single glance at you makes me content with being so excellent a bug. " "True " murmured the King yawning. "But you tire me good stranger. Miss Chim will you kindly get the gasoline can? It's high time to eradicate this insect. " "With pleasure " said Miss Chim moving away with a smile. But the Woggle-Bug did not linger to be eradicated. With one wild bound he cleared the door of the palace and sprinted up the entrance of the Jungle. The bear soldiers saw him running away and took careful aim and fired. But the gold-plated muskets would not shoot straight and now the Woggle-Bug was far distant and still running with all his might. Nor did he pause until he had emerged from the forest and crossed the plains and reached at last the city from whence he had escaped in the balloon. And once again in his old lodgings he looked at himself in the mirror and said: "After all this necktie is my love--and my love is now mine forevermore! Why should I not be happy and content?" www. Since existence had still to be reckoned with. There was work to be done for Susan could not do all.
Crept away and slipped down the north side of the hill to find their companions. Sam and Peregrin had not been idle. They had explored the small dell and the surrounding slopes. Not far away they found a spring of clear water in the hillside and near it footprints not more than a day or two old. In the dell itself they found recent traces of a fire and other signs of a hasty camp. There were some fallen rocks on the edge of the dell nearest to the hill. Behind them Sam came upon a small store of firewood neatly stacked. "I wonder if old Gandalf has been here " he said to Pippin. "Whoever it was put this stuff here meant to come back it seems. " Strider was greatly interested in these discoveries. "I wish I had waited and explored the ground down here myself " he said hurrying off to the spring to examine the footprints. "It is just as I feared " he said when he came back. "Sam and Pippin have trampled the soft ground and the marks are spoilt or confused. Rangers have been here lately. It is they who left the firewood behind. But there are also several newer tracks that were not made by Rangers. At least one set was made only a day or two ago by heavy boots. At least one. I cannot now be certain but I think there were many booted feet. " He paused and stood in anxious thought. Each of the hobbits saw in his mind a vision of the cloaked and booted Riders. If the horsemen had already found the dell the sooner Strider led them somewhere else the better. Sam viewed the hollow with great dislike now that he had heard news of their enemies on the Road only a few miles away. "Hadn't we better clear out quick Mr. Strider?" he asked impatiently. "It is getting late and I don't like this hole: it makes my heart sink somehow. " "Yes we certainly must decide what to do at once " answered Strider looking up and considering the time and the weather. "Well Sam " he said at last "I do not like this place either; but I cannot think of anywhere better that we could reach before nightfall. At least we are out of sight for the moment and if we moved we should be much more likely to be seen by spies. All we could do would be to go right out of our way back north on this side of the line of hills where the land is all much the same as it is here. The Road is watched but we should have to cross it if we tried to take cover in the thickets away to the south. On the north side of the Road beyond the hills the country is bare and flat for miles. " "Can the Riders see?" asked Merry. "I mean they seem usually to have used their noses rather than their eyes smelling for us if smelling is the right word at least in the daylight. But you made us lie down flat when you saw them down below; and now you talk of being seen if we move. " "I was too careless on the hill-top " answered Strider. Emperor Ferdinand II and Maximilian of Bavaria. As for you King Philip IV of Spain- * * * Grantville
To the industrial and commercial welfare of the United States we should have a flexibility of tariff sufficient for the give and take of negotiation by the Department of State on behalf of our commerce and industry. CRYING NEED FOR AMERICAN MERCHANT MARINE. I need hardly reiterate the conviction that there should speedily be built up an American merchant marine. This is necessary to assure favorable transportation facilities to our great ocean-borne commerce as well as to supplement the Navy with an adequate reserve of ships and men It would have the economic advantage of keeping at home part of the vast sums now paid foreign shipping for carrying American goods. All the great commercial nations pay heavy subsidies to their merchant marine so that it is obvious that without some wise aid from the Congress the United States must lag behind in the matter of merchant marine in its present anomalous position. EXTENSION OF AMERICAN BANKING TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES. Legislation to facilitate the extension of American banks to foreign countries is another matter in which our foreign trade needs assistance. CHAMBERS OF FOREIGN COMMERCE SUGGESTED. The interests of our foreign commerce are nonpartisan and as a factor in prosperity are as broad as the land. In the dissemination of useful information and in the coordination of effort certain unofficial associations have done good work toward the promotion of foreign commerce. It is cause for regret however that the great number of such associations and the comparative lack of cooperation between them fails to secure an efficiency commensurate with the public interest. Halo. Camelot is similar to Kobold (see Protector) in that Truesdale has been using gravity generato
There were one or two cooks around preparing the ceremonial meal of meat bread and salt but they paid him no attention at all. He sat down outside one of the slaughterhouses. There was he knew a back gate somewhere around. Probably no one would stop him today if he walked out. Today they would be looking for unwanted people walking in. He could just walk away. The wilderness had seemed quite pleasant apart from the thirst and hunger. St. Ungulant with his madness and his mushrooms seemed to have life exactly right. It didn't matter if you fooled yourself provided you didn't let yourself know it and did it well. Life was so much simpler in the desert. But there were a dozen guards by the gate. They had an unsympathetic look. He went back to his seat which was tucked away in a corner and stared gloomily at the ground. If Om was alive surely he could send a sign? A grating by Brutha's sandals lifted itself up a few inches and slid aside. He stared at the hole. A hooded head appeared stared back and disappeared again. There was a subterranean whispering. The head reappeared and was followed by a body. It pulled itself on to the cobbles. The hood was pushed back. The man grinned conspiratorially at Brutha put his finger to his lips and then without warning launched himself at him with violent intent. Brutha rolled across the cobbles and raised his hands frantically as he saw the gleam of metal. One filthy hand clamped against his mouth. A knifeblade made a dramatic and very final silhouette against the light- "No! " "Why not? We said the first thing we'll do we'll kill all the priests!" "Not that one!" Brutha dared to swivel his eyes sideways. Although the second figure rising from the hole was also wearing a filthy robe there was no mistaking the paintbrush hairstyle. He tried to say "Urn?" "Shut up you " said the other man pressing the knife to his throat. "Brutha?" said Urn. "You're alive?" Brutha moved his eyes from his captor to Urn in a way which he hoped would indicate that it was too soon to make any commitment on this point. "He's all right " said Urn. "All right? He's a priest!" "But he's on our side. Aren't you Brutha?" Brutha tried to nod and thought: I'm on everyone's side. It'd be nice if just for once someone was on mine. The hand was unclamped from his mouth but the knife remained resting on his throat. Brutha's normally careful thought processes ran like quicksilver. "The Turtle Moves?" he ventured. The knife was withdrawn with obvious reluctance. "I don't trust him " said the man. "We should shove him down the hole at least. " "Brutha's one of us " said Urn. "That's right. That's right " said Brutha. "Which ones are you?" Urn leaned closer. "How's your memory?" "Unfortunately it is fine. " "Good. Good. Uh. Interesting dream
Note: This was a dream that I had while on vacation back in late June and early July, posted later in July when I finally got back and had the time and energy to do so.
I suppose I waited too long to record this dream, as most of the binding details are now faded from memory. The dream began with me coming home from my vacation. Apparently, I had been hired as a part time worker at a small restaurant as a dish washer to work part time to supplement my full time job's income. I had little debt and life seems to be terrific. Better yet, through the restaurant I met a very beautiful young girl. Having gotten to courage from this now seemingly miraculous vacation, I spoke to her. Over the course of the dream, we grew closure and entered a romantic relationship. She and I entered the small restaurant and I saw my ex there. The dream made it quite clear that I still had feelings for her and I was afraid that my now current girlfriend would grow jealous and angry. I had my girlfriend duck along with me to avoid being seen by my ex. Obviously, my girlfriend picked up on the whole reason but assured me that she wouldn't be jealous and actually understands. We got up and my girlfriend introduced herself to my ex and made small talk with her until the ex left. Now forgotten bits and pieces later, the girlfriend and I had an argument which resulted in her leaving me at the restaurant (it was after closing time). Supposedly a few days went by in the dream when I saw her again. My memory cries that there was a guy with her, perhaps on a date or maybe as a friend, but when I saw her I wanted to apologize. My attempt at an apology failed as I searched my heart and my real feelings came out. "(Insert the now forgotten name here), I... I... I love you..." She of course was more than happy to hear than and jumped into my arms for a nice big hug and some tears. At that moment, I said we should get married, that I would want to spend all of my life with her. She agreed and I put a nice little ring onto her finger (not entirely sure were the ring came from). Some more forgotten bits and pieces later, we found ourself in a small bedroom (a cross between my old apartment room and my current room), and she was lying on the bed with me. In the course of discussion, I had found out that she was actually only 17 years old. I told her it was alright, we can wait until after the marriage to fool around with each other and I kissed her tenderly. (Wow, I don't know what to say to that, actually). So more bits and pieces later, I was walking into the restaurant. I realized that I had forgotten to wear my work uniform to, well, work. I mentioned that I had to go home to get it, but the cook/employee/possible manager grew very angry. According the dream, I had thus far retained great independence in working there, do what I want as I pleased with no risk of consequences. As a matter of fact, everyone there loved me and understood that I worked better than anyone when I was left alone to do what i want, working my own hours and coming and going as I choose. After being heavily chastised and my job threatened, I left to get my uniform. At some point, I passed a building with a large window and happened to catch with the corner of my eye something very upsetting.
At this point I would like to clarify some lesser facts, such as the young girl is supposed to be the young daughter of or somehow closely related the restaurant's owner. Her supposed brother/cousin was also around. I met the young girl because I worked for the restaurant. This all was also apparently supposed to take place around dusk of the 4th of July. Anyway....
I looked into the window and saw my girlfriend taking a bath in a Jacuzzi bath with her brother/cousin and they were partaking in kissing. Kissing! First I was horrified and very upset, but thanks to thin walls I was filled in. The girlfriend didn't actually care for me at all; she was merely using me to someday gain ownership of the restaurant from her father. While it wasn't actually said, it was eluded that her supposed brother/cousin was not related to her, but merely playing the part around others to stay close, and was really her lover. The dream ended there after some more non-important bits and pieces long forgotten the moment I awoke. I have some issues with this ending, particularly being that the girl I feel in love with in the dream did seem to be different than the girl I saw in the window. Got to love dream evolution though. |

and when given opportunity
i seize the day... tackling it to the ground and choking it with the one inch of rope it has allowed me.
i cannot say much, for i am very tired. but i will say that i will use whatever words i want however much i want to at whatever times. because as long as i am telling the truth, my words are uninhibited. and it's going to get annoying. someday. but until then, i'm thriving.
i saw half blood prince and i'm rather inspired. not only by the cinematography, but by the evoked emotions. all these simple dark things writhe under my skin and make me itch. betrayal and self-loathe. so beautiful. tantalizing. delicious and thirsty. blood-thirsty.
i'm in a happy mood. though my muse is rather macabre. please forgive me.
and now, for some slumber. :) |

I'm tired. I'm glad the end of this particular wave of crazy busy is nearly over (one more week!). I have a list of things I need to do, and it is long. This is okay, I just wish it weren't so hot out here in Auburn.
It was even hot when I arrived around 1:15 this morning (yes, a of m). I showered and slept, and got up way too early. Then went and waited outside for an hour because plaintiffs' counsel decided to change the deposition start time without bothering to tell any of us. Deposition.
Then I took a run to the Raley's grocery store, were I purchased and immediately sucked down an entire 32 oz gatorade in one of the less repulsive flavors. I was still tired and still thirsty, but I figured it was better to fix thirsty first.
I crashed into bed and slept. Despite plans to accomplish much and then go see Harry Potter, it was nearly 8:00 when I walked out of Denny's and across the street to the hotel. Too hot. I am also still tired. So I did some paperwork and such, put on the TV, and stayed here in the AC.
Tomorrow is another brief bit of deposition. I want to go for a walk, but it if is over 100 again, that's a no go. Then I drive home and sleep more. There must be some more work done too, sadly. |
