Through graduate school and beyond I plan to become a professor in medieval European history, as Stephen Colbert says, "Illuminated manuscripts were the video ipods of their day." I guess I want to get established as a History professor at a good university,
I was obsessed with Lord of the Rings for a long time and I still enjoy it but I don't treat it like a religion anymore (this is a good thing; healthier :) ), and from January 2005 through March 2006 I was CONSUMED by the Battlestar Galactica craze...but the last 2 seasons were really stinky and I fell OUT of love with it. When live-action science fiction TV started really being a let-down in 2003-2005ish, I started watching a lot of anime on Adult Swim, and it kind of went from there. I've also been in love with Venture Bros. since season 1 (I was there when season 1 ended on a cliffhanger and for 6 months we all seriously thought the show was canceled before its 11th hour renewal)
These days I spend most of my time working, and any new stuff I watch will largely be through the scifi club.
When in doubt, it always helps to face with world with unbridled childlike optimism.
