Historical Romantic Mystery ThrillerWhat genre of books are you most drawn to? Do you stick mostly to one type of book with your reading, or do you like to mix it up? I don't really think of myself as having a type. I love a good biography. I enjoy a history - especially if it's to do with scientific history. I adore a mystery. Sci-fi, memoir, poetry, children's bo I totally mix it up. Here are the last few books I have read: Undead and Unstable by MaryJanice Davidson Vampire, humour, romance (Betsy the Vampire Queen, Undead series) 11th Hour by James Patterson. My I like supernatural/ fantasy books mostly, so most of the books I read are of those genre (there's also sifi as well). I also like to read short little mystery/ horror stories too. I've mostly read ma I would have to say that I am most drawn to the Fantasy Genre, followed very closely by Science Fiction. I'm not normally one to go in for Romance unless it has a paranormal feel to it - except for,
STEPHEN KING IS MY MAIN MAN! I'll read anything thats good, as long as it doesnt take thirty thousand years to get to the good, meaty part of the story!
I love all kinds of books and don't really stick to one genre. I'm, admittedly, not very big on the romance genre. When I was a bit younger (late teens to early twenties), I used to read romance nove I've been reading a fair amount of young adult recently (authors like John Green, Maureen Johnson etc) so I guess that type of genre. Mainly I like fiction that focuses more on the interaction bet
Okay, I will admit that I don't read enough hard text, that is, factual stuff. Mostly novels, of a more escapist genre (BS: ALL 'novels are 'escapist', just as all fiction is 'fantasy', in it's usually I would go for True Crime and I really put a lot of those away over the years. Lately I have got more into travel and travel humor books. Some history in there as well. Mainly I only read Umm, pretty much yes. I'll read almost anything. Predominately Fantasy, followed closely by Science Fiction, Historical Fiction, and YA. I have to admit a preference for the possible as opposed to the existing. Not that non-fiction can't be interest |
