This doesn't happen too much. If it does, SPEAK UP! I have to say what they did. If you don't, they just might say it to the wrong person. It's a slim chance, but it might happen. i get irritated.... i try to tell them nicely... to get them to shut up, if they kept on going on and on, or if they were talking bout someone i cared about... but usually if it offends me, it depends Well I don't JOIN their crusade or pretend I agree. But usually yeah I act like I didn't hear it. Depends on who it is though. If it's family or someone in an online game I play, especially Warcrack I It all depends on the tone and/or intention of the joke and how well I know the person making the joke so I know if it's truly malicious/disdainful meant or not... I mean, for example: Me myself and qu Getting ready to start reading Romeo and Julliet, Honors English had to write Shakespearean sonnets with a partner. I ended up writing the entire thing myself, but that wasn't my partner's fault. Crea
I would most likely just let it slide. Cuz I myself, am no t really one to voice how im truely feeling. I am mostly keep my feelings to myself. Not too good at expressing what bothers me and what does I always confront it because I dislike prejudice like that. I remember having to call out my father's father and tell him and his sons to shut up because they made fun of my ex's nationality. Also I'v This happens quite a lot actually, especially on my dad's side. It really does bother me, but it's hard for me to speak up about it. I'll usually give a disapproving look or an obviously fake laugh lik Usually, I am in someone elses house, a relative's house who already knows my stance on these things is more open and accepting then their stated position. I am reluctant to pick a fight. In my own ho I would confront them on contact. I would do it even if it did not directly offends around, it is just the thought of someone saying something like that is so wrong and if I am around it would NO well those who know me best...or even who reasd my blog enough know im loud and not afraid to tell it like it is. so, when it comes to racist remarks said without good reason, or when people call ME r I'd probably speak up, but normally I don't hear any overly racist remarks. I read once that in many cases racism is camouflaged as trying to help or even to establish equality, and I agree. I think a Well I have never heard my friends or family make a harsh remark like that and them be serious. I mean we have joked around and said some mean stuff but we don't mean it, and yes I realize someone can I don't say anything. I try not to make waves like that. Even if someone says something I find deeply offensive I don't say anything. This question really interested me because i know everyone does something different in a situation like this. I'm not saying these ar I was an army brat, so I was never taught that skin color made people different. It was only after I became a "civilian" that I saw and heard how others acted. As for any other d Well, it depends upon the situation. If it goes too far from my philosophies then I would confront him or her really nice and slow. However, if it does not account severe damage then I'll let it slide Is it bad that I laugh? But if someone said something that I didn't agree with and was being super serious I'd say that that was a bit harsh. |
