Passing the torch...
Hey all (or anyone who even reads this anymore)...
I'm putting WoW on hold right now since I feel no need or desire to play it right now. It's kind've up in the air if the xpac will draw me back in, perhaps, but in any case I want to look for another maintainer, just in case I stop for good.

The Black Temple is Defeated! About half an hour ago my guild and our friends of Harum Scarum on the server Silver Hand downed Illidan for the first time! I thought I would share some screenshots with y'all...
Firstly, on Oct. 28th, my main character Kharivas finally dinged 70. At the time, he was in CoT: Durnholde, visiting Thrall, whom he met at the Battle of Hyjal ... which, at this point, hadn't yet happened. TIME PARADOX!
/played time after the ding was about 21 days, 7 hours.
That was my first time in Durnholde. Thankfully, I was DPSing. My gear was definitely not good enough to tank this instance.
On a later run, I returned as the main tank, along with level 70 Satya (my guild's resident Nelf rogue), a 68 hunter, 69 mage, and a 69 shadow priest who was scrambling the whole time to keep me alive.
Even after burning my Shield Wall cooldown, I died about halfway through the fight with Epoch Hunter. The rest of my party kept attacking him, hoping to burn him down before he killed us all.
In the end only the Hunter remained ... and pulled off the narrowest victory ever.
Fun times.
But somehow, I don't think I'm ready for Black Morass just yet... >.>;

Ironsong Tribe Family Moot Hey y'all, Last weekend I hosted a gathering at my home in Vermont for members of The Ironsong Tribe. Some of you may have heard of Ironsong; we've been a fairly prominent Horde RP guild since our inception in 12/04. My main is Sreng, the Warlord of the Ironsong Tribe. Anyway, I thought you all might like to take a look at pics from the event, you might even see some people you know. It was a modest affair, drawing about a dozen of us from far-flung locations such as New Jersey, Toronto, and San Diego. A good time was had by all. It’s already happening in Guam, where as reported by the Pacific Daily News, Sen. Ray Tenorio (left) is a serious, level-70 WoW player. Tenorio’s avatar is a Dwarf priest named Paleray on the Silverhand server. He’s a member of a guild, of course, the Knights of the Marianas.
From the PDN report:
Tenorio has been gaming online… for years. His previous game of choice was Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, where he had several top-level characters of various classes. But in November [2005], his brother Charlie made an earnest plea… “We need a healer…”

I don’t have a way with words in explanation for this post, other than me being bored at work, so I’ll just ask: who is everyone in-game?
On the Horde, I’m Pumpkinleaf, a level 70 snarky tank with a heart of gold. :D She was my main for a while until I became interested in leveling a Draenei priest named Moonves. Moon is currently my new main, and I devote time between her and a Tichondrius toon. She’s also in the guild Unos. I make rare appearances on Pumpkinleaf these days outside of scheduled raids. Aside from LJ, which I’ve been a part of since like .. 2003 or so, I’m also on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/__duckandcover.
So tell me: who are you? I like keeping in touch with people I socialize in the game, and making new LJ / MySpace friends. Plus, I’ve been reading George R. R. Martin’s A Clash of Kings for over an hour now, and I needed a break. Whoo, boy.

Hiya~! Hi guys, I'm new ^_^ Both to this community and to World of WarCraft XD I didn't play for a long time largely because I know how addicted I tend to get to games like this and I really wanted to concentrate on school-- especially since it was my senior year of college. But then I graduated and then my boyfriend finally caved in and started playing (he didn't play for a long time either) and I wanted to play it with him so here I am! I've only played for about a month so excuse my newbieness, hehe. Umm hmm, my main is a Nelf Hunter, on Silver Hand of course ^_^ And yes I know nelf hunter is basically the most overplayed class ever but I didn't know it at the time XD I'm at level 22, I did Deadmines the other day for the first time and somebody ninja'd with all the loot x_x I have a bunch of characters all over various other realms too, because my friends all seem to play on different realms and I want to play with all of them, so I sort of feel stretched thin right now but my Silver Hand char is definitely my favorite ^^ Oh and I play on a Linux computer cause I'm a geek like that! Greetings. My name is Kharivas. Some call me a warrior. Yes, I can wield a sword with some skill, but first and foremost I am a blacksmith, like my father before me... Most of the armor I wear, I crafted myself.
I only fight when I must... and that has been much more often as of late. I already fought in one war, but it seems I may be forced to do so once again.

Bound by Hatred is hosting a learn-to-run-Karazhan run this Saturday at 3:00 pm server time. We’ve keyed a handful of guild members who have never raided before, and this is a “get to know the place, get to know what’s expected” run. If you’re not saved to a Kara run already or are just bored and keyed, send a tell to Pumpkinleaf in-game or comment here. Vent info will be given out the day of the raid. Our raid makeup looks like this right now:

PvP Semi PUG?
Anyone want to PvP with me? I'm just looking for some people to PvP with on weekends during the bonus honor. I don't want to leave me guild to join a PvP guild because who's to say if I will get a chance to PvP at all. I'd rather just get a static group together. I use xfire a lot so I thought if someone did want to join me, we could talk on there so it wouldn't techincally be a PuG :D So let me know! Either here or you can email me! Thanks!

Getting to Know You! Ok so i'll start with my information.... *ahem* I play on alliance mainly. I have a 65 night elf rogue (Bunganga). sword spec. my guild name is Wandering Souls and I am the co-founder and as of right now the leader i guess lol. we only have 3 or 4 people lol. but we all know each other in real life. I have a lot of other alts some of which are on horde. My highest horde character is a 35 troll shaman. But right now im working on my blood elf pally and lock. IRL: I'm 21 and I'm in college.
