I've sent some gifts to guildies. I farmed for a few extra hours so that I'd be able to send gold to the newbies in the guild and maybe a thoughtful non-soulbound buff or two to everyone else. Silly... but we're a good group, and I have a lot of fun with them. :)

Oh, and I bought one of the first folks I ran BG's with her Wolf once she got Exalted with Orgrimmar. That was groovy. I'm pretty tapped out right now, but we're not raiding MC or ZG again until the second weekend in January (so everyone has a chance to get back from whatever for the holidays), so I can re-farm my cash.

No real world friends are getting WoW gifts, though. ;)

I much prefer the Fox Trot wherein the kid put up a christmas tree cut into the shape of Sauron's tower (sorry, can't remember it now, only Eisengard is coming to mind) with an eye at the top.
