Rob Guest, who plays the Wizard in the Melbourne production of Wicked, is critically ill in hospital after suffering a major stroke. Updates and discussion with other fans can be found at wicked_aus or here (the actual discussion thread).

Guest is also know as the longest-serving Phantom in PotO (more than 2,000 performances) and he has been in Les Mis and many other productions.

ETA: Rob Guest passed away overnight, surrounded by friends and family.

Anyone been to Barnes and Noble lately? Its a WICKED Halloween! They have the books of course, and the soundtrack but also some new stuff. A Wicked totebag, a tshirt journals, pens which I want (I Elphie-green and one Galina-pink). They also have 3 puzzles, one is the picture of the girls with their green glasses from "One Short Day" (which is supposedly the easiest), Elphie up in the air from "Defying Gravity (so much purple! level 2 difficulty) and the poster (the most difficult). I bought the One Short Day puzzle - so far...I have the border done.
