What have you finished lately?

This post is just a quick clarification/addendum to the plot proposed by the __itwith__ muns. Follow that link! Read the post! It sounds fun! And awesome! However. It is also a bar-wide plot, and one that, by nature, might inconvenience such players as would rather not deal with the plot, but who would not be able to avoid it. (For example, if your character is the stay-inside type, it would be perfectly easy for them to miss an infestation of the grounds by Heartless, and for you as a player to ignore it; if your character is an outdoorsy sort, not so much.)

Thus, we requested that the __itwith__ muns include a poll with their plot proposal - so that, since this plot has less 'ignorability' wiggle-room than usual, as much of the playerbase as possible could vote on whether or not it should take place. Unfortunately, it seems from the comments that there was some confusion over the purpose/phrasing of said poll, and not all the details were elaborated on in the main body of the post. So, in the interests of fairness, here is a new and clarified poll.

This poll will remain open until midnight EST on Sunday (19th October). You should disregard the previous poll; even if you have already voted there, you must vote here for it to be counted. Vote once, and once only (no multiple journals!); the plot will require a minimum of 2/3rds in favour in order for it to happen. This is not a poll on whether you would like to volunteer for or be actively involved in the plot - simply on whether you are okay with the plot going forward.

Summary: Milliways gets connected to the Darkness until the Door is locked allowing minor Heartless into the grounds outside the bar. Meanwhile several Princesses of Heart of their own canon, hanging out in Milliways - there will be no "Milliways Princess" are kidnapped for unknown reasons and need to be rescued.

Summary v 2.0: Two week long bar-plot temporarily making the outdoors dangerous while volunteers go on an OOM rescue quest.

So, hi, you all.

This pup posting here is one Dahlia Malloy, from the ex-FX show The Riches. She's been in Bar, technically, for quite a while, without actually coming into Bar, because her show was evil and kept ending on cliffhangers that her mun didn't know how to handle. Well, after quite a lot of that, the show has quite literally ended, permanently, on such a cliffhanger.

But, since I don't have the heart to get rid of her, I've decided to side-step the issue of all the big changes at the end of S1 and S2, at least for the moment, by bringing her in pre-canon and taking her through her canon properly. Since she was previously coming in from some undefined spot towards the end of S1, that means that she won't remember any of the few pups who've actually threaded with her, until she gets back to that spot.

So, yeah, just FYI.

((Also, since I know we have one or two other The Riches pups but don't know who plays them, if either of them are active, I'd <3 hearing from their muns. Contact info should be in Dahlia's userinfo.))

Happy hour is open from now until I leave work for the day, which is about 4:30 or 5 mountain time. (Yes, it's early. Slow work day is slow.)

Can I make a humble request because I am lame in such ways? Either an OOC note in a tag or maybe in the userinfo of the pup's journal as to what his tinytag is? I oftentimes don't update the tinytags of people who tag into an EP of mine because I don't know what they use, or don't know how to spell it. *fails* Does this seem like a good or helpful idea?

I totally had an awesome topic today, but I forgot it.

(In other news, I have officially been at my job for one full year. Which means we're coming up on a year's worth of DE posts!)

What canon should be cross-overed (crossed over?) with yours, and why?

Firefly's been done with Dark Tower in Milliways, so I won't touch that. I'd like to group 'American Gods' with 'Pushing Daisies', but I can't really support that since I haven't actually read 'American Gods'. Most people who know me know I want to crossover Eureka and Iron Man like nobody's freaking business, but that comes from SARAH and JARVIS than anything else. Hmmm...The Illusionist is difficult. I don't know what I would choose! Any ideas?

ETA: Ugh. Work. Back...hopefully sometime before the tenth o' never.

So, one of the other muns and I were chatting, and we realized...there've been so many tweaks, changes, etc. to the area out back that we can't quite keep track of them all.  So...would it be possible to get a full summary of them so we can keep everything straight?  Thanks.
