Okay so i have worked at wal-mart since the middle of August. It was okay for about the first week or so, everyone being nice to the new guy and what not. Once that is over you find out how everyone really is. I started out in the Men's Department, which in my opinion is the hardest department to work in the whole store, especially if you are expected to zone it by yourself! I decided that i wanted to get out of apparel asap not only because of the department but also because of the people in apparel. It was basically me and a bunch of old women. lol i do not see how they can get any work done since all they do is stand around the fitting room and talk all day. There is so much drama there it reminds me of highschool! So anyway as of January i finally got out of apparel and i am now in Housewares, and Domestics which i like a lot better, but you still have to deal with the drama. A couple weeks ago i was looking at my pay stub and realized that i had no sick leave on it at all, which i thought was odd cause i have been working full time since i started. So i go to ask a manager and they tell me that i am in the computer as part time! i applied for a full time position and was hired as full time or so i was told, so i fill out a paper and have the store manager sign it and it all gets taken care of, and then i look at my most recent pay stub and see that i have only an hour of sick time. So i asked a friend who has worked there about the same amount of time as me if she had any, and oh yeah she has like 20 hours, so now what i am wondering is where did all mine go, i mean i know i was in the computer as part time but trust me i have been gotting 40 plus hours in since i started so why is it not on there? I guess that wal mart thinks that it is supposed to just start from when they decided to get around to putting it into the computer? And then now i am wondering how this is going to affect the weeks vacation i am supposed to get after working there for a year??? Does that start from when they decided to fix their mistake too?? Oh no it does not i will be talking to personel and it will be changed or i will be looking for new job which is what i should have been doing for a long time now. The ONLY reason i ahve stayed there this long is because i was trying to get to a year so that i could have that vacation but if i dont even get that now that will really piss me off! Ugh.....i hate wal-mart!!!

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know what Wal-mart rehire policy is?? I worked there twice and quit. But I put in a two weeks notice both times. So my question is am I rehireable?? I am a seansonal cashieer at Target right now and have just reserved a job offer from Kroger. But I really want to return to wal-mart but was told my an assistant manger that I can't. Although other manger informed me it was up to the store manger. Thank you.

Yet another rant from the Cobweb Fairy...
I realized that my paycheck seemed to be over $100.00 short. The two personal days that I had taken didn't process through due to personnel not typing it in on the computer or a manager not signing the papers. Either way it wasn't my fault, yet I was denied to get 100% of what they owe me. I had two choices: I could get the full amount of what was due on my next paycheck (which is two weeks from now) or I could get 60% of it now and receive the rest on the next paycheck. It was their fault and they owe me the funds -- yet I'm the one that has to deal with the whole issue. What kind of crap is that?

so it seems that I'm fired? from wal-marts.
I took Jo to work with me cause she's spending the night tonight. I didn't think anyone would really care as long as I got my work done. Big Mistake.
At work, I informed one of the manager girls named Dawn that I needed off for this friday, saturday, and sunday as I'm going to New York then for an early christmas present. She hemmed and hawed and finally said that I would hav to call another manager because she "can't do it".
So when I get to my toy section, lo and behold everything is being moved. Half my toys are at one end of the store, some are in the middle of the store, and the others are at the other end of the store. Needless to say it was all a giant mess! Me trying to be the good little walmart drone I am, tried to zone up a bit and help people. My friend was helping me zone a bit and when I would help people, she would wander off to look at things.
I go and get my returns, go back to toys, and find a whole bunch of gameboy games that were stolen. I return them to the electronics and give them to the guy working there and then I try to ask him a question but he hurried off. My friend goes to look at games and I stood by the guys counter, waiting to ask him about a dvd box set my friend wanted to know if we have.
Then Dawn shows up at my elbow. She asks what I'm doing. I explain to her and she then asks if I have anything in toys that the department manager left for me to do. I've been working almost 3 months and have only met the woman twice. My department manager works overnights. No, she never leaves me things to do. Then Dawn gets to the point. She asks me if I have a friend working with me. I give a little laugh and say that I have a friend AT work with me, not working with me. Well Dawn then begins to inquisite me. Why would I think that's ok, why is my friend there, blah blah blah. She then pulls me to the side (3 steps away from the counter) and begins to ask me the same questions again. I innocently tried to reply to her, amongst her firing questions, that my friend was spending the night and no one was at my house and we (my ma and I) didn't want her home alone. Well, silly me, Dawn doesn't care about that and that's not her problem! So.. I do the only thing that I can do at this point... I burst into tears and sob, asking why every manager is jumping on me suddenly and then I say I quit.
Crying, I make my way to the back. On the way, Dawn follows me and starts telling me that I can't quit because I'm fired for acting childish and she wants my badge. Now I got pissed. So I took my badge off and threw it on the floor and kept walking into the back. Ignoring her, I went and got my purse from my locker, parading in front of about 6 people who were on break. The whole time Dawn is right there at my side, hissing how I'm acting childish and immature and that I was fired and what was wrong with me and what made me think it was bring-a-buddy to work today?
I then, still ignoring her, walk back out and begin to walk to the front. Dawn at my elbow, still going down the list. Only now she begins adding new things. I'm off the payroll now. I'm not going to get paid. I'm being escorted out of the building. Now when she said I wasn't getting paid I looked to her and said I BETTER be getting paid! Mind you, I'm still sobbing like a baby. Dawn informs that my check would be mailed. Finally I had enoughh and say to her "Keep talking because tomorrow I'm calling the manager to let him know how unprofessional you're acting." she gave this laugh and said "Honey, I AM the manager." Which is a lie. She's like.. assistant manager. Oh and when I was being escorted out, this other assistant manager I didn't know very well joined her.
Once outside I wait and after awhile my friend comes out. She informs me that they followed her around the store and then called to each other using the walmart code to inform each other of where in the store she was. Friend Jo didn't see EVERYTHING that went down because she went to the bathroom cause she knows when I get upset I hide in the bathroom. Well after a bit she came out and walked around cause she didn't know where I was. Then she bought this toy and came outside and found me.
We decided to walk down to target which is across the street. On our way we pass the lawn and garden center where we come across Ernie. Ernie is this funny old grandfatherly like man who is very nice. He always looks out for me and my ma calls him her friend. He spots me and asks what happens. I inform him of what's going down and he says I should call the manager of the store, named Bill, and then set up a meeting with him so I can tell my side of the story. Then he says if he doesn't do anything, then I should go to court! After talking a bit about it, the other manager guy named Clint shows up and asks to talk to Ernie inside and then proceeds to keep him inside and makes this other girl I don't know very well to go out and sit there. I was so upset and pissed and confused that I just walked off.
So.. give me opinions on what I should do. Please.

You think your WalMart store is bad...
... mine has had 2 bomb threats in the past 2 weeks. Last year a "fake bomb" was found in a baby stroller in electronics. That same year, a toddler was fatally crushed under a fitting room mirror. Bad, bad news.
I'm thinking it might be time to leave this store. What do you think? ;)

Yes, Walmart still indeed sucks. Hence i am posting here once again. Having been in grade 12 for like 5 weeks, I know that it's a lot of work. It is also extremely important, because I want to get into university, and I need good marks. So, I know that i can't work 4:30-11 three nights a week. Firstly, that leaves no time for homework. And you know what? School will always be my number one priority, and walmart can just shove it. That being said, I simply cannot work those hours, yet walmart will not give me a definitave answer about whether or not they'll change them. They can't seem to understand that i need to do my homework...or that i have to wake up at 7:30 am for school...and as a cashier with those hours, i won't be leaving until like 11:30 or something...that's just too late.
So far, the store hasn't opened, and it's just set up, so the hours are good, and i'm handling them okay. But the fact that i even have to put in an effort to handle it, means i'll never be able to handle 4:30-11, and i'm never ever ever willing to try. Even if it's opening day, I don't care. That doesn't make a difference for school. I'm okay with what i've got for the 6 weeks of setup, especially since there's pretty much no supervision, so it doesn't matter what you do, but of course, no one is there to tell you if you're doing it right (another issue i have). But once the store opens, with the hours they gave me, i know i just can't do it. What do i do? Quit?

lolololol! It seems walmart has went and screwed me over yet again!
In my last post I said I had a set schedule... LIES! Walmart cares nothing about my schedule! I now work:
Sat & Sun 1-10 (wtf?) Mondays 7-11 (which is lol cause that's one of the days that I have no availibilty, so I just tell a manager and I don't have to work then) Tuesdays 7-11 (only sometimes) wed off thursdays (see monday and repeat) fridays 7-11
Then as I went on my hour break on saturday, I get a phone call in the break room. Apparently I'm supposed to tell the fitting room when I go on break. Well wtf why didn't you tell me this like about 2 weeks ago when I first started working weekends? Why now? It's not like you're going to make someone go over to toys and help me out. Heavens no! The world might implode upon itself!!
Then saturday I find out that the girl in pets DOES exist. She's been away on vacation. But she's back. But she didn't work Sunday. Wtf? So this woman in pets is all "I need help!" so I go and help her and she promptly makes me open almost every single dog collar we have in the store because she wanted to know exactly how big they are, if they can be adjusted, etc. In the end she chose the collar that was the third one we opened.
Then at work last night we get a spill in toys. I page a mantinence person. No one shows up. So I call the fitting room and they page mant. for me. Then they call me back. No one is here for mantinence! Great! So I had to walk into the back room thing, try to figure out how to get the water faucet working cause there was no more than 8, no less than 5 valves all attached to this faucet thinger. I finally manage to find someone who can show me how to use it. Then I fill the bucket up (managing to totally soak my shoe thus resulting in me walking around with a wet shoe on and blisters on my heels, etc) and I get the mop and slowly ever so slowly I push the big yellow bucket thing and mop up the spill. Then I get it all the way back, empty the bucket, go back to the spill area, put down the bright orange wet floor cones. Realize that I'm a half hour late for my hour long break, go on break, leave break... and find one of my cones from toys which is all the way in the back of the store by lawn and garden.... the cone was all the way on the other side of the store by electronics. Some fuck had picked up/shoved/whatever this cone ALL THAT WAY. Wtf people!?
Later that night my feet were KILLING me. So in a plan to sit and do nothing, I went to the clearance section in lawn and garden and got this el huge-o cooler and dragged it all the way from the lawn and garden place to this one far aisle in toys where the coloring books and books are and I sat there and read the books. Every time I heard someone coming, I would start arranging the coloring books, making it look like I was doing something. I did eventually straighten the coloring books which were EVERYWHERE, but I so did it while sitting down.
And now my closing lol; I told my mom about this community cause she knows I like to complain about my job and everything. Well my mom flipped out saying wal-mart could find out and fire me and blah blah blah. I assured her that I did not use my real name. :)

Hello everyone! I'm new here and thought I would make my first posty-post :) Well we all know that wal-mart is made of fail and stupid and unfortunately I work there D: So I thought I would share some of my storys.
I work part time. I'm also the only person in the store with a set schedule that follows as so: Work Week A
Sat & Sun 2-11 Mon & Tues off Wed 7 pm-11 pm Thurs off Fri 7pm - 11 pm
Work Week B
Sat & Sun 2-11 Mon off Tues & Wed 7pm - 11 pm Thurs off Fri 7pm - 11pm
My mom runs a home daycare and the earliest she can get me to work on weekdays is 7pm. Walmart was actually ok with that... only because they make me work EVERY WEEKEND. My mom is in complete and utter disbelief that they have me working every weekend but I'm just like "hey mom, that's walmart for you!".
At my walmart we have about 80 gazillion assitant managers. No lie. One of them has MS and is in a wheelchair. God forgive me but he scares the holy hell out of me. He always wheels around in his little hover-round thing with this EXTREMELY angry look on his face and he snaps at me and says I need to hurry and zone and that I'm not doing something right, blah blah blah. Another asistant manager person is named Mike. Mike likes nothing better than making the people under him misserable! Each time he works he picks one person out of the whole store and stays up their ass. Three weeks after working at walmart he chooses me. He decides to show me how to zone (because after 3 weeks I apparently don't know how, not to mention before working at walmart I worked at toys r us) and then he shows me how to get my returns. Because it's so hard! I just stared at him the whole time with this puzzled look on my face. Then after that, no lie, he keeps showing up, telling me that this needs doing and that needs doing. Well no shit Mike, it's called customers, they like to mess things up.
Perhaps I should clear up a lot of confusion by posting what department I'm in. I should say departmentS. I was hired for a sales floor person in toys. In reality, this seems to translate to I'm toys, pets, lawn and garden, housewares, crafts, and sporting goods. After working in toys for about a month, walmart goes and moves the only other girl in toys, leaving me by myself because the toys department manager lady only comes in overnights so I never see her unless she comes in early. On saturdays, like today, from 2 - 11 I will be the ONLY person in toys. Our busiest day. And it will be expected to be spotless. But people think toys = babysitter. I had one mother come in with her 6 year old daughter and say "I'm going to do the other shopping, you stay here and look at the toys." WHAT THE HOLY HELL!?? And people wonder why their kids get kidnapped! YOU GIVE THE PEDOS AND CREEPS OPPERTUNITY! STUPID!
I also love it when the older kids, 14 on up, come into the toy section and press every single toy that talks and makes noises. Yes, I'm tired of listening to those blasted High School Musical dolls sing, no please don't press them. If you're not going to watch the movie thing about the learning bike thing that you ride, please don't press the button. That thing's even louder than those damn dolls. Ooooooh and did I mention how much I love it when the 16 and up boys come into the store and find the balls? It's like walmart is their own personal gym! :D Who cares if they knock a bunch of things over?!
Well this thing is going on too long and I have to get ready for work :( but I leave you with a very funny true story.
My friend works at the jewlrey counter. She had one of the display counters open and was dusting the rings off when a guy walks up to the counter. "Excuse me, do you work here?" she looks up and goes "No, I'm robbing the joint. Want to help?" and the guy just looks at her and says "No, really, do you work here because I need some help."
Well if you can't figure out that the person behind the counter with the walmart colors on and dusting off the rings in the counter, works at walmart.... then yeah, I guess you do need help.

Well, last week I changed from third to second shift at walmart. Well, they say that corporate controls the music in our store and the air conditioner, which is stupid because in Arkansas it could be a totally different temp than down here in the hot as fuck alabama... yep..
well, a few weeks before I changed shifts, we had this huge Heat Wave...
It was atleast 105 during the day, and still about 90 degrees at ten pm at night when my shift begins, and still about 80 degrees after 1am in the morning.
I'm a stock monkey for walmart, third shift does a lot of harder work, meaning we have to stock the new freight, carts and carts of new freight, pallets, etc. and they give us said time limit, etc. plus do returns, blah blah.
so in the back, if second shift didn't get our truck downstacked, we'd have to downstack ourselves.
Well, receiving area is hot as hell and come to find out, our store manager cuts the air conditioner off at 8pm, so we have no air conditioning!!!!!
what the hell??? apparently he wanted us to get sick from heat stroke or something because two hours before we get there he cuts off the air and the rest of the night we're all burning up and nearly passing out from heat stroke. good thing they let us bring water bottles on our aisles while we're stocking the shelves so we don't get dehydrated. Oh, then two week later, they try to tell us we won't be allowed to wear shorts soon, but i still see some third shift people wearing them, so apparently that idea didn't go over well.
I don't understand why the stupid manager would turn off the AC during a freakin heat wave.... yeah, they realy don't give a shit about their employees at all... I couldn't wait to move to second shift...
so, just out of spite, one of my co-workers asked one of the night managers: "hey, what if one us passes out and goes to the hospital for heat stroke, would they turn our AC back on then?" and the manager looked to the co-worker and replied, "probably not."
Yep, walmart doesn't give a shit about their employees. Now, our store is a little better than some of the stores i've read about on here, so I dunno... but I think it's shitty how walmart employees get treated... I think it would be funny if the workers went on strike one day all at the same time and refused to work for that day... how would walmart run then?? lol.... anyhoo, new to this community, glad i found it, cause i'm sure i'll have more gripes about this company later on....

I have been an associate at Wal Mart for almost 6 years. Before I started working for the company I knew nothing about the internal problems it has,however I have since learned alot. Through reading some of the book that Sam Walton wrote about the company he founded,I have learned that most of the problems with Wal Mart started after Mr. Walton passed away. Sam built Wal Mart into a very successful company by paying attention to the needs of the people and taking care of his employees. In return he got loyal customers and employees that were willing to give 110% to the company. Sam was a hands on person who spent alot of time visiting his stores personally and listening to what his associates had to say about their place of employment. He enjoyed meeting the associates and customers and was willing to go the distance to make sure that everyone was happy. In the 80's and early 90's with sam at the helm Wal Mart really began to grow and stock prices soared. Wal Mart was truly a place where you could start a career and actually make something out of it. Now that Sam is gone,the last few people working for the company during that era are being phased out. Sam's children now have control of the company and they aren't very hands on at all. They want nothing to do with the every day goings on in the stores. They would rather have some corporate asshole or CEO run the company for them. There is where your problem lies. The Waltons give the CEO full control,and all he has to do is show them a big return on their money. As long as the bottom line is more money for them,they don't care what he does. These corporate dicks have gradually phased out just about all of Sam's beliefs and principles and what got this company where it was before they took over. People like David Glass,Tom Coughlin(who stole the company blind before he was fired),and now Lee Scott don't care about what the customers or the associates think or want. They could care less about meeting you or listening to what you have to say. We are nothing more than a number to them. Unfortunately that is the way they run this company now. They figure as long as they can pressure their vendors and manufacturers to sell them their products for dirt cheap,they can keep people coming back by selling those same products lower than the competitors. They also believe in cutting overhead by slashing the payroll at the ground levels and making the associates work twice as hard. They have also gotten rid of many of the incentive plans that Sam had in place to reward associates for hard work(good job pins,Christmas bonus,merit raises,etc.). Now they have started screwing with the my share program which was started so that all associates could benefit from store profits. It seems that every year they come up with a new plan for how this bonus can be earned,and every year it gets harder and harder for ground level associates to earn anything. Now morale in the stores and distribution centers is at an all time low. The Store Managers are like corporate robots. They have prepared speeches and corporate responses to everything. Hell,the company even sends people in management to schools to learn how to dodge issues, how to get around dealing with problems at the store level,and even how to lie when you need to. This is called leadership Training(what a joke). As long as the Walton's are getting theirs,they don't care. Lee Scott will do whatever it takes to keep making his pockets fatter,and it trickles down from there. The days when people like Sam Walton would run their own companies with their own beliefs are gone. Corporate assholes or crooks or whatever else you want to call them,are the order of the day. These are the people whose heads we want on a platter,and they have done everything in their power to make sure that isn't going to happen. They have politicians in their back pockets,and Lawyers to handle anything that comes their way. They have built a brick wall around themselves to protect their money and their assets. It's up to us,the common men and women to find a crack in that wall and chop these corporates moguls down to size and level the playing field.

As I will probably be fired today. But it isn't my fault. For over a month since half way through June I had been trying to get my availabilty changed, so I wouldn't have these problems that I'm getting ready to have.Not to mention that I told them when they hired me in May that my situation had changed since I applied 6 months ago and I really couldn't work any hours. I was told basically to bad thats what my application said.
I tried for three weeks to catch up with the store or assistant manager. No luck. I finally caught up with the assitant manager, who then told me he couldn't approve it that the store manager was the only one who could. But if I left the form there *dated june 23* he would make sure she gets it...I wait a week nothing, can't find either one of them. So I go to the head CSM. and explain to him whats going on, he is like fill out another one and I'll take it to them. So like an idoit I did. Dated July 5th. I told him that starting the first of august I couldn't work after 7 no matter what the shedule said and I wanted to give them plently of notice. (So as to avoid this). He said I'll take care of it. Wait and wait nothing Head CSM seems to avoid to me now :P...
Okay well here it is the first of August.. and guess what the shedules are midnight all week, I can only stay till 7.
Last week I was on day shift and finally found the store manager, who talked to me like a dog and made me wait outside the office *like I was in fucking school* for an hour then sends someone out to tell me to talk to the asst. manager, who says I told you I can't do this go back to the store manager. I bounce back and forth till 3:30, I got off at 2pm..Finally her little lackey comes out and is like she said it would be better for you to come back tommorrow. Very calming *points for me* tell her that I'm not leaving till the issue is resolved and to push the point home furthermore I'm not getting off the clock. Bam that worked suddenly the asst. manager could sign the paper. He went through the whole spill that i might not get as many hours and blah blah.
To make things worse, that was a friday, personel wasn't in the office this weekend or monday so I know it hasn't been put intot he computer as I'm not leaving the signed copy till someone puts it into the computer and I watch them do it.
Anyway I'm thinking chances are good that I will get fired today b/c if they tell me that I can't leave or have to work this shedule there is just no way that I can.
My luck the head csm won't be there today if that is the case then I'll just leave him a note and take it from there, You would think with all te help they supposedly need they wouldn't treat their employees like slaves and shit.

Hi Everybody!
I worked at a Walmart Super Center in Texas.... I started out in the Stationary / Furniture Department, then after I had been there 30 days I put in to move to the Deli because the pay was ALOT higher than what I was making just being a floor associate.
My First month their in the Deli Department, went very good Untill one night...... I was taught how to clean the fryers with the grease still in the fyers. I did it that way for a veryyyyyy long time untill one night, At 9:00 Pm CST on 6/14/07......... at closing I was cleaning the fryers, and I was scrubbing the back of the fryer and I had both hands on my brush and I was scrubbing pretty hard and thats when it happened..... My Brush SLIPPED and my arm went DOWN into the fryer for a split secont..... My just about WHOLE left arm was cooked in the deep fryer. We had to stop what we were doing and then go and run to the breakroom where I showed a manager what happened, and I had to go into the breakroom while she ( the night manager ) ran to HBA and got me a free bottle of Alone..... I was NOT offered to go to the Emergency room or anything...... I had very very bad 2nd degree burns down my left arm... And you know what they did for me? I sat in the breakroom, and the Night Manager, iced me, put aloe on me and SENT ME back out on the floor to finish cleaning the fryers. YEAH...... WITH 2ND degree burns..... And here is my arm swelling up and getting those big pockets of water under them ( like water blisters) and I had to finish cleaning out the fryers AND THEN...... get this GO WASH DISHES...... WE were there till 1:30 AM..... cleaning the Deli..... And by then, my arm had those big water blisters and omg I was in soo much pain.......... But I stayed and finished my job.... Like a good slave to walmart lol.
After a week....... I had started getting scabs..... and everything on it..... I begged the people to let me go to the doctor, It was throbbing and everytime in the Deli, I got around heat it , it throbbed, and it would Bustopen when I banged it on a box, and it hurt to get around the fryers, hot case, and all that..... They kept telling , " Oh, It will heal on its own, its gonna bust open like that and bleed and blah blah..... " and gave me a life story about when they had a car accident and how they had the same kinda wound and lalala and talked me out of it..... After the 3rd time I asked and begged and they kept giving me the same story over and over, after finally after B*tching and going around the store, saying " MANAGEMENT REFUSED to let me go to the doctor" Word got back around to them, and I was called into the office , I got my butt chewed for saying that...... Which I didnt care because it was true, they wouldnt let me go to the dr, and after I got my butt chewed, and did my Workmans Comp paper work, I went to the clinic around the corner and then I got paperwork to go to a Workmans Comp Doctor in my area.
So 2 weeks went by....... and my arm was getting better..... AFTER going to a Workmans Comp Doc, I was offered a job in the bakery department..... Because it was easier my super told me, and he thought I might like it better because the dude that was in Bakery was moving to the Deli anyways.......And the heat back in the Bakery wasnt bad as the Deli.... Because the doctor told me to not be around heat for 6 weeks untill my arm healed and I was on light duty from 6/22 to 7/2, untill I went back to the doctor....... SO I accepted the job... It was only going to be a .50 Cut in pay... and would be going down from a leval 5 to a leval 3....AT FIRST...... OR SO HE TOLD ME
Buuuuuuuuut, Turns out.. it was a .70 cut... and got dropped to a LEVAL 2...... because " I WAS SLOWER,and havent picked up on thing very fast yet in the bakery!"
and I got screwed over in that deal......
And, I did try to go and fight that..... the .70 pay cut but I was told " THERE WAS NOTHING they could do because I had accepted the offer and put in my CBL name and password and took the offer".. So I was back down to making ENTRY leval pay... heh............. So I was working back there and I had to get on the intercom to tell a woman to come get her garlic bread and here comes this woman from meat market YELLING AT ME...... GET OFF THE INTERCOM LALALALA..... DONT YOU EVER GET BACK ON THERE..... CALL THE OPERATIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGG lol..... I mean just screaming at the top of her lungs at me like I had done something bad.... Me, and the girl I worked with , and MY DEP T MANAGER, we just stood there and laughed at her LIKE WTF?!?!
And of course I told her she wasnt my manager and walked off... And untill I am told by them.. Dont come telling me what to do.......And that my dept manager said it was ok for me to do that...... She HAD NO problem letting me do that..... She even said we were suppost to do that....
A few days went by, and I had to get on the intercom again to page one of my associates to come help me decorate a cake, So I paged one of them back to Bakery.... lol because my handwriting on a cake was pretty shotty. Well, as soon as I got off the intercom...... GUESS WHO COMES TO THE BAKERY........... YEP YOU GUESSED IT..... tellin me to get off the intercom , And she started in on me about the Intercom, and I said LOOK....... YOU ARE NOT MY BOSS..... GET OUT OF MY DEPARTMENT. NOW! and I had turned her in for what she did a few days earlier using my " OPEN DOOR" process, AND QUIT TELLING ME WHAT TO DO............... GOODBYE! And she left A WEEK GOES BY..... 7/19/07........... :4:30 pm CST..........I was helping a coustomer and my Super walkes by and he asks what I am doing? I said fixing to go check the KNEE KNOCKER in front of the deli and check my snack pies and all that.. he said ok after you do that, meet me in the office. ( by now it got to the point where they were calling me into the office EVERY DAY for something stupid )........ I checked my pies then went to the office..
Here comes my super and another manager..... He pulls out a green sheet.. I ask what that is? He says this is your Termination sheet.... IN SHOCK....... he Said that they had 3 witnesses saying I cussed an associate out and that was means of termination and that I was elegable for rehire after 90 days"....... I asked the super to prove that I used profanity and he told me " Dont worry about it, we got three witnesses, thats good enough" I MEAN WTF?!?!?!?!?! I signed it, throwed my badge on the desk... Got my Discount card out of my wallet and turned it it..... Cleaned out my locker and came home........ I WAS IN SHOCK
......... And you know what the funny part was..... I was 2 days away from my 90 day probation period from being up... now tell me that aint a Cowinkie dink they fired me 2 days before that was up so I wouldnt get a raise?
YESTERDAY..... 7/24/07.......... I 2:30 PM CST...... called the AREA SUPER........ told him my story and I asked him to Investigate it and he said he would Investigate it......... at 5:30 pm CST he calls me back.. Said that the three statments taken , AT DIFFERENT TIMES......said I told her TO f**k off and to get the HELL out of my DAMN department......
I told the man I DID NOT SAY THAT... AND I KNOW IF I DID .... I SUUUUUURE would of remembered telling someone to F***K OFF.....
He told me that the termination stands, and that he got into the computer and changed the MISCODE for my termination from just using profanity to ( NOW I WANT YALL TO GET THIS ) LUDE AND GROSS CONDUCT and changed it to where I WAS INELEGABLE to work at ANY WALMART, SAMS CLUB, DISTRIBUTION CENTER or anything..... EVER..... I can never work at one..........
I think after I got burnt, and moved to the Bakery.... I belive thats where everything went down hill... I was an ASSET to walmart and after I got 2nd degree burns and complained that they refused to let me go to the dr I became a LIABILITY....... SO they had this planned all along..
All I can say is.... WALMART IS BIAST, and If you work for them....... Watch your back........
